You can simp on Pio and baby him all you want but you can't say that he'd definitely win without Jeong Yo's interpretation. There were other talented candidates and their pieces could have been better than what Pio could come up with on his own. Specially considering how obsessed and mentally unstable Pio was at that time. I think what he did was pathetic and I won't ever find him respectable unless he comes clean about it in front of everyone. Idc what Jeong Yo is or isn't angry about. This is the hill I'm dying on. I'm not getting over the fact that Pio never came clean about the secret of his victory. Idc if Jeong Yo loves him, forgives him or they become as close as they were before in the end. Unless he admits it in front of media, I'm not believing in his friendship and sincerity towards Jeong Yo.

I'm actually glad it's not a BL. In the end I can accept Jeong Yo being friends with Pio after everything. Atleast surface level friendship can be maintained between them. There's no healing unless there's acceptance. Unless Pi O admits in front of the media that he won because he played Jeong Yo's interpretation, they can never truly move on. Even if Jeong yo forgives him.

Everything you said is again Pi O's personal issue he needs to work on himself. The fact that he never came clean about how he won and never investigated his mother even though he suspected her are enough reasons for Jeong Yo to not be friends with him.

I have realised that many people can't see or accept Pio's fault at all. They are also demonising Jeong yo for not instantly hugging pio and comforting him. Pio used Jeong Yo's music sheet, accepted the award and fame, built his career over this secret and never accepted in front of media that he was friends with Jeong Yo. On the other Jeong Yo did everything he could for Pio. Almost died, lost his ability to play piano, had to build himself up in a foreign country.
I'm not saying that Pio is a bad guy. I know he was searching for Jeong Yo for years but he also never investigated his mother or maintain distance from him even though he suspected her if kidnapping Jeong Yo. It was his another act of self preservation. Jeong yo now wants revenge and as long as he's not killing Pio, I don't know how he is wrong for wanting long due justice.
Pio's mental health and emotions are his own to handle. His insecurity and need for approval from his grandfather is his issue. Also there are people saying that the grandpa, Grandma, teacher everyone love Jeong yo and undermine Pio. Which is true but then again, Pio is an adult now and he needs to accept that these people admire Jeong Yo more that admire him and he needs make peace with it.
What I'm saying is that Jeong Yo doesn't owe any friendship and comfort to Pio. As long as he's not actively harming him, Pio should move on with his life. And if he wants Jeong Yo's friendship, he needs to admit the music sheet secret in front of the world.

I guess we have very different taste. The character from bed friends is very lovable for me.

Seriously the people who entered BL world with revenged love are so annoying. They keep calling it a masterpiece. I get it. Everyone has different taste but RL doesn't even come close to actual masterpieces of BL genre for me. No matter what the conversation is, they'll bring it up. Also if someone talks about the pairs from The untamed and addicted (2016), they start comparing it to the couples from revenged love. Like no. Those couples were separated by Government orders, media and social pressure. Actors from revenged love decided to work on different projects on their own for their personal and career growth (good for them btw) but it doesn't even come close to the hardships that was faced by bl actors and productions before 2020.

Why are people so pressed about BL fandom calling this drama BL coded? I know it's just bromance with nothing more than friendship between two male characters but shipping has been a thing for decades atp. You don't need to act all puritan about it.

Xiao ma is as muscular as Liu Yi in novel but the actor brings character to life which is more important than fitting the character description from the novel.

The greed is already taking over the love for drama. First season was low budget but it was great because of hardwork of the cast and crew. Season 2 is gonna have a bigger budget but this time production's main focus is gonna be profit.

This week has been so long. I have attended a four day training program, fought with my boss, all while suffering from a fever. Yet I have been thinking about this show and waiting for Saturday for this show. Lol I rarely get attached to shows like this.
