As a Chinese I can tell you never ending summer is doing very bad in Chinese market and the got a lot of critisize.Because…
yes I know NES didn’t do well domestically but it was hyped internationally. But aren’t all idol dramas about love story? Then every cdrama would have been popular internationally
I've got weibo, xiaohongshu, and douyin and believe me: It's making SO MUCH heat 🔥!! As far as I know, the…
Yes I also saw their CP getting popular on Weibo but I haven't seen much about them on international platforms, maybe just a few Song Weilong edits and that's about it. Then again, maybe it's just my feed.
Does anyone have the link to Liu Nian and He Cong Rui's drama where he confines her? They used to date but his grandfather created a misunderstanding between them. They also have a daughter.
How is this drama doing both in mainland China and internationally? I haven't seen much hype around it compared to NES Internationally. Maybe it's just my social media feed(Gen ques, no hate)
Overreacting. Short dramas don't take that long to film and considering the kind of actors they are, they'll inevitably…
What I'm saying is, their industry is huge. If they take too many rest days, they'll disappear like they never existed. There's no shortage of young, good looking talent to replace them. and from what I've seen on Chinese social media, the popular short-drama actors have reached the point where they get good pay and can actually take breaks. It's the newer actors who have to work day and night.
We should be happy they're filming so many dramas if we like them. And if you think I was just hating on short-drama actors by saying they probably won't be cast the same way as they get older, I won't sugarcoat it. If you look at the kind of content being produced, it's pretty obvious why.
People kept calling her a strong female character, so I went in with high expectations but the FL felt completely unreasonable to me. She knew what she was getting into by starting a relationship with someone barely out of his teens. She’s not as strong as people make her out to be. If she were, she would’ve raised her child on her own instead of leaving all the responsibility for her and the ML’s child to her ex, the same ex who cheated on her and said nasty things about her
Some haters here saying they wasted their time watching this?? You know this series has the most dynamic story…
Yeah so not liking a drama automatically makes people haters? It's an idol drama at the end of the day. No one is watching it expecting a documentary about firefighters or doctors lives. Most people are here for the romance. Showing their profession to help us understand who they are is interesting but filling the entire drama with it just becomes boring and uninteresting.
Do people actually enjoy these breakup and time-skip dramas? Almost every modern Cdrama has the same formula now. They're always so melancholic and at some point both main leads end up frustrating you. I miss modern Cdramas like TBT and LBL. There's another one airing right now like that but it's so draggy
yes he actually dated her for quite some time but because he was never into her which is why it didn't worked…
They wouldn't go there for a first date. Even if they did, the girl was already familiar with the dog and the place and she called the dog by its name. Then Lu Xixiao said, "Let's stop seeing each other." That's not something people usually say after a first date. It felt like they'd been seeing each other for more than just one day.
In Episode 20, did he just go on one date with the other girl or had they actually been dating for a while? The editing made it look like they'd been together for some time and even the dialogue sounded more like they were breaking up. It didn't feel like it was just a one-date thing.

That girl asked him out and he said yes. How is that not intentional? He's not a toddler.
