Hve you watched the Dong Yue Ye's version, I personally prefer that versionTitle: The Wedding at Beijing Airlines:…
I had watched it. It was about a father and son marrying two sisters, right? The SML was the ML's biological son, which made me feel a bit awkward about it. I think I would've liked it if he were the ML's adopted son.
Why don't they film kissing scenes like they did in SOKP anymore? That director had plenty of questionable camera angles but the kissing scenes are still top-tier and felt completely convincing for the situation. In comparison, both the main couple's and the second couple's kisses here were so short that they felt like an afterthought. Did they get cut here? Even poj one had bad angle and zoom outs
Maybe it's just me, but if you told me I should've been the one who died and not your shitty brother, cut ties…
If he's partly responsible for her parents deaths, then she's partly responsible too, because she was the one who brought him into her home. He said he hated her but what about all the nasty things and personal attacks she's directed at him, including in today's episode? At least he had a reason for saying it. Before that, he followed her around like a puppy but she kept pushing him away with those hurtful words unprovoked
This is what happens when a male actor gains a lot of deranged shippers from a recent hit drama. The same thing happened with PC but thankfully it aired after a gap, so they were much less active. This drama came out so soon after his last one, which is why they're still actively trying to tank its rating.
I wouldn't call this drama a masterpiece but a 6.9? It deserves min 8.0 to an 8.4. Plenty of average, formulaic new Cdramas are getting 8+ these days.
Another factor is the angst and the overall Republican era setting. Ik a lot of people aren't into that and the stupid director definitely made some mistakes too. But I don't believe it would have dropped to a 6.9 without an organized effort to drag it down.
One thing I've learned is that big fandom shippers aren't necessarily fans of the male lead. They wouldn't be spreading hate toward the ship's female actor's dramas.
👄
She is her every drama

Liked it. A steamy drama with good kissing scene after quite a long time
