Fans will always find imaginary haters to fight. The top reviews are full of 10/10 ratings. I don't see anyone actively hating on it. Maybe a few neutral viewers watched it, didn’t enjoy it and left a comment
Honestly, the first 30 episodes- 10000♾️/10 The last 10 episodes- 6/10
I still think changing her job wasn’t the best direction. She was way cooler before and before the leads relationship felt more authentic, like a real husband and wife.
That said, this drama made me feel so many different emotions. It’s one of those rare dramas where not just the leads but the entire cast left a strong impression on me. I didn’t feel the need to skip anyone’s scenes. I'll forever be a fan of this drama, which is why I still rate it highly
That’s like the point 💀 you want Joseon woman speak South Korean speech?! Please Use your brain once in a…
Being authoritative doesn’t mean she has to speak like a grandma. She wasn’t a Dowager Empress. No one is asking for a high-pitched voice from the female lead either. You’re getting worked up over something that was never even said.

Use your brain and read my comment first. I never mentioned her accent. I was talking about her body language and tone, *sometimes* she carries herself like she has a hunchback. No matter the era, a young woman wouldn’t naturally speak and move like an elderly person
The story has reborn genre? I thought it was banned for long length story but notherless, im waiting for this…
It was never banned. Some international viewers just have a habit of making up new rules or exaggerating existing ones about Cdramas and Kdramas, then blaming the country for it.
Sometimes Seori’s tone and body language make her seem like a grandma. I know she’s from the past but she wasn’t an old woman. It feels more like the actress is overdoing it sometimes
People kept calling her a strong female character, so I went in with high expectations but the FL felt completely unreasonable to me. She knew what she was getting into by starting a relationship with someone barely out of his teens. She’s not as strong as people make her out to be. If she were, she would’ve raised her child on her own instead of leaving all the responsibility for her and the ML’s child to her ex, the same ex who cheated on her and said nasty things about her
ML is so annoying. He sends her to sleep with the villain to gather evidence, then gets angry and starts calling her names whenever he sees her even talking to him
Even though I usually love the toxic romances in vertical dramas, this one just wasn’t it
I mean, irl that kind of man would probably be obsessed with and have sexual relations with every woman around him. But in the drama, he was different, so ig we can call him loyal
