Story Builder

A lot is slowly building, but i was slightly disappointed with this episode from the preview we were given as i expected more to actually happen, i really hope they don't rush everything in last episode of two! But still strong, good character interactions and world building, just wish i could put next episode on!

Edge of your seat

I thought episode 8 was masterpiece level, but it genuinely is just a masterpiece series all the way through, this episode almost had me yelling at the screen, and good lord Minlee's acting is phenomenal! Honestly this is one of the best Thai series' i've ever watched, and that's not just BL, its all Thai series, in fact its in my top 10 of all Thai, Korean, Chinese series so far

Editing is bad but story is there

This episode has a lot of talking but felt like things were coming together and resolving, really enjoyed it and was shocked when it ended as went by fast so definitely didn't drag. But the writers and/or editing of this series is awful, it has a really strong foundation story, and brilliant characters, abut without Boat and Oat this would be a flop. The scenes feel jarring and like you miss a lot of the show, ie how did Phatsa get from one place to the bed (without spoiling), i would have loved to see a bit more of the scene and some panic, but feel deprived of my hurt/comfort moments. This show needed to be longer, properly filled out and not rushed. I'm enjoying it, and will probably do a full rewatch in 2 weeks when final is out to see if i feel better watching in a binge instead of weekly.

Progress

Some of the storylines are starting to come together a bit finally, lots of secrets revealed and a few twists unfolding (although i have to admit i suspected all along). #Boat and Oat are definitely carrying this show, honestly the writing and direction is very disappointing, but the scenes with Boat and Oat pull me back in. All of the cast are good, i haven't seen the others in other projects to know if they are good actors when given a decent script, but i personally would prefer a show that had no side romance, focused on the brothers relationship with each other, and Phatsa and Nakhun's relationships, and just keep the others as side characters. If the show had a season 2 lined up i would be a lot more excited but i have a feeling i'm going to feel a bit disappointed in the next few episodes unless something really changes.Always a high rating for me as Boat and Oat are brilliant, and i love Omegaverse content so this is still a top tier show as it scratches that itch.

Pacing

If this show were 24 episodes my level of concern would be a lot lower in relation to this shows pacing. I'm loving it, really, but getting concerned that we're on episode 8 and there's still so much i want to see from this show. Also i like Nakhim and Ongsa, but the dialogue is becoming a bit rinse and repeat. It's feeling a bit like the writers knew they had the omegaverse to draw in the audience, and they didn't put a lot of effort into the script because of that, the actors are great, the production is great, and i love the foundations of the show, but my concern is there unless they announce a special episode of season 2 i have a feeling i'm going to finish this show feeling like a lot has been missed.

Masterpiece

This episode was a masterpiece from start to finish, each scene had its own story, nothing dragged, nothing missing, it just felt solid acting just on point, emotions all over the place

Underrated Arc

I actually think this was my favourite of the 3 arcs, it was consistent writing all the way through, and i enjoyed learning their history, although we knew they wouldn't get together for awhile because of the other series, but it was sweet watching them grow together. The mafia side was interesting as we see bits of this through Johan's story as well so good to see it expanded on in this arc, and see Suer's role in it all as well as his brother and their relationship development, i do really wish there had been a bigger f' you to the father though, but could say the same for the 1st arc!Good round off of the series!

Sweet arc

A really sweet arc overall, with a good build up of their relationship. Enjoyable side characters in Meen and Do, but honestly as it goes on i think they forgot the ghost aspect of the story and it lost some of the charm because of that, but a nice easy watch, just wish the ghosts had been a more sustained storyline

Sweet end of the arc

Honestly the first 2 episodes were my favourites, i struggled with season one as i find it a bit slow, so i went into this series expecting much of the same, but i'd heard good things so stuck it out.Reviewing at this point as it's the end of the arc, and honestly, it was good, the build of their relationship is really smooth and wholesome. Biggest issue i had is the lost potential for emotional trauma, the first two episodes hold 90% of trauma for the arc and had me in tears, the rest started to feel repetitive until there was a 'whoops we forgot the dad was an issue' moment, it went from terrified to over it in an episode. Acting is on point, and you can see how scarred he is, but it goes from high tension to much of the same very quickly. So if you liked the slow, neat feel of season one, then get through the trauma of the first 2 and your in your element, i'm the opposite, i need to feel emotionally drained when there is trauma involved.A lot of the plot points also seemed to be realised off screen, like him learning about Fun, if i learnt that someone i thought of as a sister had passed, and my 'brother' had been left alone when i knew he struggled, i would have had a very emotional reaction and i was disappointed not to get this from Fah, i'm sure he had it off screen, but we didn't get to see his emotional range outside of first episodes, and that sucks.Overall, a good arc, with some retribution, but not a lot, and great chemistry between all of them. Kept me watching, but i'm not rushing to watch more or go and rewatch.

Relationship Builder

Very much building the main, secondary, and third couples in this episode, i thought i would find it slow but i'm here for it! This one really made me wish i could speak Thai, as there were a few scenes that felt a bit stilted but i think it was subtitle spacing rather then the production or acting.I'm obsessed with this show, all in for Nakhun and Phatsa, but i actually like the interactions between Phatsa and Napitch as well, its a really interesting dynamic being built.A lot around being an outsider or feeling like an outsider in this episode as well which adds some depth to the characters. Just loving everything in this show, but the next episode preview has me wishing for next Tuesday. I don't think i've ever been excited for a Tuesday before, i'd almost be tempted to book it off work if it weren't for the fact the show is out 5pm my time so i'd just spend all day waiting for 5pm anyway, i can do that at work! :DPlease watch this show!

Slow but steady

A slower episode, but seeing some story progression, loving the series so far, wish there 100 more episodes ahead, but all out at once as weekly would be torture
