It's not about being great at picking scripts. It's about having great resources and having good scripts in their hands

I think you're confusing the seasons with eachother and it's not about what I want, it's about how they wrote the story for the drama. Qing tong and Fugui's story is told in season 3 not 2 and maybe you didnt follow the leaks of the third season but GJ doesnt have a guest role in this part, even the famous thousands swords scene was shot without him.

He's very bratty at the start of the drama but becomes more mature as the story goes on.

I understand the character is supposed to be like that in anime but it doesn't transalte well in the live action. Even a stoic character is supposed to show some microexpressions when the love of her life is dying right in front of her eyes.

Bad, illogical script full of plotholes, bad editing, bad lighting, bad direction, boring fight scenes with lame hand dancing, weak annoying villian full of only talks...
Also acting could have been better specially from the FL. It may have been because of the script but her character seems detached, emotionless and indifferent in all situations, towards all characters.
Basically everything that could have gone wrong in this drama, went wrong...

You can watch any of the seasons as stand alones. They happen in the same you universe but have different stories. You don't need to watch one to understand the other.
But I guess the other 2 seasons will have a stronger connection together since the ML of the third season is the son of the lead couple of the second one and Wang Quan Hong Ye (ML of the second one and father of ML of third one) is a support character in the third season as well (played by different actors though since he gets older in the third season)

Don't be too happy because the other script writer isnt that great either😅 Let's hope she wrote a decent enough script for the other 2 seasons😅🙏

The information on MDL is wrong. The other 2 parts have different main script writer.

I can't really tell when they officially got together because they FL was constantly rejecting the ML😅 Other viewers please correct me if I'm wrong but maybe it was ep 28-29ish? but they broke up again soon after that's why it's hard to tell.

Look at the cast of this season. do you see anyone named dong fong? Also his mom's story will be told in the second season not this season.
In the anime YC and FG's relationship is important but not in the drama. Their relationship doesn't run deep because we wont be seeing any interaction between them. They mentioned fugui 3 times in YH. only once was by YC, the other two times were by Fugui's dad which didnt even include any important information.
I understand you like the anime but they changed the story for the drama.

Yes I watched YH and they only mention fugui 3 times in the entire drama in passing and what they mention have no importance or relevance to the third season's story. YC doesn't have a guest appearance in the third seaosn either so... If anything you should mention wang quan hong ye because he's fugui's dad and at least he's relevant to the third season's story.

Like I said there's connections between some of the characters but they won't make a guest appearance in the other parts so it's not really important and it's not necessary to watch one part to understand the other.

They don't have the same director. The main director of ZY and QW was only assistant director in YH. You can see from their teasers and trailers that the mood and texture are totally different in the last two parts. Also YH was more xianxia, the other parts are more wuxias. They filmed many many martial arts fight scenes for this part so we know atleast fight scenes aren't going to be them just standing still and waving their hands around. I'm not saying the last two seasons will be great but they'll be different than YH.

They're not really related. They just happen in the same universe and there is some connections between a few of the characters.

I didn't really cry that much, maybe a few tears here and there.

The three parts aren't really related. They have their own separate stories.
