As an addict of female general dramas, I really had high hopes for this one, but honestly, I tortured myself just to finish it. The FML got "announced dead" like 4? 5? times—like, enough is enough already. They just kept piling on clichés. Sure, she’s strong, and yeah, the enemy general being in love with her was kinda okay. I didn’t hate their acting too much, but the whole thing felt like it was written by someone drunk at 3 a.m. But hey, what else would you expect from a cheap Chinese drama, I guess?
