They both died. Hoshi is most likely dead inside that bathtub and Minato decided to end his life inside that train after :( now im gonna go back crying
I don't understand the low rating. The acting is not top notch but they're quite good. The chemistry is there and it actually has an actual plot. I really enjoyed this one. The number of episodes is just enough so I don't feel any drag in the storyline.
I am loving every character so far and judging by the pacing, we will see more of how they'll navigate being in a relationship rather than get together at the end of the series, which is most of the time frustrating, lol
I don't understand the low rating. Were these people angry because this series just took a hit at religion? This is a work of fiction and it does not hit at Buddhism alone but at every religion. This is an eye-opener actually of how our faith makes us so strong but also so gullible at the same time.
Definitely begging for a second season but damn I hope it doesn't end up like The Stranded with no sequel in sight.
P.S. Everyone did great especially our trio.
P.P.S. I'm a sucker for romance but I feel so bad after shipping Dear and Monk Dol. LOL In hindsight, Monk Dol needed that heartbreak ;(
I don't understand the low rating. Yu Sen and Yueh's dynamic is killing me. I'm so glad Yu Sen ditched Henry because that man will only hide him forever. I love every couple in this series and how they turned out in the end. This show is a reminder that intimacy and communication is very important in a relationship. I wish we see more of them but it feels like a really good ending so a 2nd season might be a stretch.
ep6 - im not sure if I totally like kang tae min yet but at least he's an extra protection for our FL. He's a ticking bomb though. i really hope i don't get second lead syndrome because their chemistry is also good.
Took me a while to get past the first 2 episodes but it was a binge-watch right after those. loved the chemistry. this was a 10 before that time jump which I am not a very big fan of so 9.5!
damn cried as hard when Pu'er died. loved the series though i had to admit it took me months to finish because i don't like binge-watching political dramas because they are mentally exhausting. this was a real treat though.
It's the seniority for me. I grew up in an Asian country and we love and respect our elders but the way Japan and South Korea portrays it sometimes shock me. They do away with their self respect and dignity in the name of seniority and fear of being called rude. I know I may be generalizing but I am seeing a lot of it especially in Kdramas.
ep 18 and I am loving it so much. i love how Jia Xu did not show a hint of romantic feelings until Zhizhi became a legal adult. All he did came from a brotherly place of love up until he acknowledged the fact that she has really matured into a young lady. Of all the FLs in Chinese dramas, I love Sang Zhi's character the most.
P.S. What in the method acting is happening with the main leads? They're so giddy just looking at each other you know they don't even have to act lol
Loved everything about this show up until the second half of ep 11. I wish writers would stop using time and space as an excuse just to deliver angst. It is very rare to watch a series brave enough to break the ep 11 curse. Nevertheless, this is one of the best ggmtv bl series recently.
Donating – heroic? Then it will be a tragedy, cuz cornea transplant only from deceased donor
it's heroic for me because how can donating a part of you to someone you love be considered tragic? for Mhok, he'd do it in a heartbeat even if it means dying. it will only be tragic from our POV since we want them to end up together forever.
The only way I'd be disappointed with this series is if the ending is a fairytale one - Day getting his sight back or a heroic one - Mhok donating his own eyes. I hope the show stays true to what it is currently representing - that blind people exist and they can have a normal and happy life regardless.
I don't know how P'Aof does it. Every episode released is better than the last!!! I love ep5 so much from that banter in the first scene to the practice date to the nighttime stroll on the bridge and then there's the bar scene. If you can murder one bl character, who is it and why is it August? lol Seeing heartbroken Day is sad but heartbroken Mhok is killing me :(
so excited when this pairing was announced. I really miss seeing Perth act and we know Chimmon is a good actor too. I love their banters and cute moments in the show but there's just no sexual tension. Nevertheless, looking forward if they get another series just to see how much they'll improve in that department. As for the show, it's not Oscar worthy but not the worst either. That ep 10-11 drama was so unnecessary though.
Definitely begging for a second season but damn I hope it doesn't end up like The Stranded with no sequel in sight.
P.S. Everyone did great especially our trio.

Great article, by the way!
