IKR, i understand the necessity of all those and i applaud them for it, but i still hate all those mystery cliche, with a passion

overall i really like it, my only complaint is the story ironically lack a bit of grit

anyway the ending theme is pretty lit

they could have gone with a pretty elaborate and technical revenge but some braindead executive probably screamed more fight more view during the producing meeting

they really tried hard to be on of the cool kids but in the end its still the same olde trope

its cool the managed to insert cute moment seamlessly in a story with gloomy vibe.

imo the og was a mockery of the system but this adaptation is more like typical korean fight/revenge-against-the corruption plot
also both professor and berlin are not as much as charismatic and the public support feels less genuine

im honestly impressed and baffled they managed to make it more insufferable anymore than it already was

stupid and amusing lol

1) Kyosuke himself was never interested in romance to begin with. It was his misfortune to get tangled with mitsuki. She fake prego it to get him to marry her. Kyosuke, being the aloof guy he is, not caring nor know any better just went with it out of pity.

With kaori, it started off with curiosity and his lack of understanding of love. Quoting myself from my previous reply down below
"From what i catch, he was someone who dont understand whats this love everyone talking about. He didnt understand why people had affair nor why kaori was holding onto her husband after all hes done. He was curious and like a scientist he is, he just had to take the"research" onto his own hand and find the answer himself. eisei and karyouten will have their stage later. currently it focus on building shin unit(army) and introducing kyoukai whos gonna be important later on.

welp thats kinda the point of manga, epic battlefield war action. there will be other part of story thats focus on palace politic later instead of pure battlefield.
and its inevitable theres not much eisei in this second movie, since it closely following the manga. he will have his stage in later story but hey we get shin x kyoukai instead and it will only get better later.
