it really live up to its title, totally not what i expected. i didnt have much expectation since its 'just' a romcom, but actually everything is really well written. i love how the food them wasnt just a set up theme that they forgot somewhere later, it was utilized really well. probably one of the rare romcom id rate 9 (or above)
honestly i even thought the story was a bit too close to that kdrama but the manga actually came out a bit earlier…
yeah im aware of nigehaji, i guess the characters setting is pretty mainstream for the trope. it just the fact that (1) the ml have 'previous' love interest, (2) the cat (& it being sick, and (3) the existence another male character aware of the 'contract' just 'tick' my mind more than it should do, lol
This J-drama has quite K-drama feels, perhaps because our main lead fits the k-beauty standards and is more reserved…
honestly i even thought the story was a bit too close to that kdrama but the manga actually came out a bit earlier (a month, to be precise) than that kdrama lol
i know... but how?? idk but im guessing the the tool/equipment(s) being used to be pretty different, no?? or is it a plot device we just have to take at face value
she probably didnt grow up in a good family, i guess
