Another day, another fake rumor made by 2ha haters.Any one who has read the book would know it's literally impossible…
Yes, i don`t believe they will make them endgame, but i think is possible they can add some more scenes with Shi Mei that they wouldn`t have added originaly, like not necessarily romantic, but having her interact more with the male leads, so the relationship between the male leads will not seems like is the focus, so as not to attract attention. Like to make it seem that something more happens between them if you want to see it, but at the same time, is not there for people who don`t look at it as a danmei adaptation, like how Untamed did it.
Just like what my little sis has mentioned above, this post seems to be the only post about it.If it helps, I…
I don`t entirely believe this post, but i do believe Tencent is taking precautions and things will change. Entert industry in China has a lot of new rules being implemented, and things will change, and those changes will only make BG and BL dramas actually going back in time to the way they were filmed and promoted in the past, and in the past danmei dramas that were considered acceptable was the way Untamed did it. Actually Guardian was taken down at some point when it was airing i think, because the relationship between the male leads was not considered to be just brotherhood ( it attracted too much attention). Then only after it was heavily edited, it was released again. That`s why the drama has so many hard to understand and messy edited scenes. That`s why maybe they don`t want the drama to be taken down, or they made new rules so they will have to resubmitte, i don`t know really, but i do believe any of the upcoming danmei dramas will not be aired the way it was intended to air before those new rules were implemented. And by saying that Chen Yao will get more scenes, they don`t necessarily have to be romantic, but to have her interact to the leads, and make the male leads romantic relationship to say it like that- more lowkey and to not attract attention. Even if they add more scenes to her they can still preserve the relationship between the MR and CWN, at least i think they can if thay want to.
This is the same post i was worried about this morning, but now my twitter is overflowing with people dissing…
It may not necessarily targeting HYX. HYX is one of the few upcoming danmei dramas, if not the only one, that have in the cast an important supporting female lead, with who a main character is actually entangled. Adding some more scenes to her so the relationship between the male leads is more lowkey ( as it will not drawn attention, and make it seem like is not there) is not unusual. Maybe the production team has decided that making the dramas as having bromance, will no be enough, as too many scenes have to be cut, than to add more scenes of Shi Mei. This is just speculation, who knows, but anything is possible. This was done in the danmei drama that was totally transformed in bromance named The Sleuth of ming dinasty, they have added a lot of scenes to a female supporting character, but i disliked this drama not because of this, but because of the changes made to the personality of the male leads. I mean i am not defending this channel, as it does says to take everything with a grain of salt, and not everything it says is in the end proved to be true, i just think from what i observed- it usually reports thing as they come across them, and don`t insist on them, as they just make one post and move on with another. I just come across some rumours from this twitter channel i follow, who is not really as reliable as dramapotatoe and cdrama rumours channe;, but i found this channel posts more trustful than others. https://twitter.com/takewithsalt/status/1433956141625716738 All credit goes to @takewithsalt So it seems changes to Winner is king and Immortality too will be made by TENCENT, so they would at least be able to air them. To be honest, i dont blame them, this year has been a tough year for Tencent and danmei dramas in general. To be honest i am really bitter about a lot of things that hapenned this year and i just hope China would at least allow the release of the danmei dramas that were filmed and are currently produced, and they would manage to slip some danmei dramas in the future that can at least portray the relationship between the male leads as well as how Untamed managed too. For Immortality it seems it will changed to resemble to a BG drama, as they want to add more scenes for Chen Yao who plays Shi Mei ( this is really unfortunate sigh, i hope they wouldn`t at least suggest they end up together). Ant in this situation, complains for the fans will only make things worse. I also read a lot of posts saying WIK and Immortality will have to be resubmitted for censorship, and that`s why the changes will made, so they will pass smoothly. At this point, i hope at least the story will not butchered, since i think for the majority of us, to be able to see the characters come to live and tell their story in a coherent way is more important than anything. Let`s be honest to ourselves, deep down we did know danmei dramas will be not be able to be released as before, at least for this period of time. And deep down i did know this will happen, but in a way this is a good thing, as maybe the upcoming danmei dramas that will be released will focus in showing a good story, the story that is actually closer with what actually happens in the novels they are adapted from, and we will get more good quality danmei dramas like Untamed.

When the heck is this going to air. The trailer has been out for what seems like a year now. Oh and Jing Boran…
I don't know that much details, probably it didn't passed the previously phase that take place before the broadcast license phase. But one thing is sure is that this drama didn't get his broadcast license, since cdramas that gets their broadcast license are published in NRTA website, and for this drama it was not announced yet.
When the heck is this going to air. The trailer has been out for what seems like a year now. Oh and Jing Boran…
It will take some time, from what i read (dramapotatoe source in twitter) the drama hasn`t gotten the broadcast license yet. It has to get this first and only then find an airing spot.
It happened before Kyoichi has his break up scene with Tamaki. The beach scene wat cut in two and one was showed…
Yes. The movie basically ends with Kyouchi making his mind to wait for Imagase return, and if this ending was the production team decision, probably to be more impactful, in the manga the movie was adapted from they do end up together, and in a way the movie has decided to delay their reunion. The ending of the movie has some slight changes made and a sort of ending earlier than it should, so the reunion takes longer, as it was just a few hours in the manga until they are reunited.
I think you watch it already, but i will reply you just in case. It has nude scenes related to the sex scenes usually, but the private parts are not showed (by this i mean- no frontal nudity shot) Is just a normal movie that targets adults and has a few sex scenes, like actually well filmed sex scenes. The two sex scenes are filmed in a way that you know what they are doing, there is nothing ambiguous about them.
Can someone tell me if the beach scene happens in the past or if it happened after kyoichi had his breakup conversation…
It happened before Kyoichi has his break up scene with Tamaki. The beach scene wat cut in two and one was showed much more later, but is obviously the continuation of the first part. If you remember, the beach scene happened right after the break up scene between Kyouchi and Imagase ( i mean after the scene where Imagase slaps Kyouchi and after he starts crying and scrolls down). Basically, after the break up scene, they go to the beach, and the remaining part of the beach scene is shown later. This kind of montage of not showing all that it happens and revealing late or showing much later a continuation of what is tought is finished happen quite often in Japan dramas and movies, i guess i got used to it, and i was not confused by it.
I will share the news i know about this drama adaptation. This danmei drama adaptation is based on the sequel novel of Breaking through the clouds named Swallowing the seas/Poyun 2/Tunhai from Huai Shang and the rights to make the live adaptation were bought by Huanrui/H&R Centuty pictures entertainment company, who has acquired the rights for another four bl novels, who includes Thousand autumns and Tianbao Fuyao Lu. Huanrui is an agency that doubles as a productions company, as they are involved in the making of the dramas that they bought the rights to adapt. It has made quite a lot of dramas, but i think Love and redemption is their biggest success. Anyway Huanrui has a tendency to cast their signed actors to play in their "in house productions", so the last rumour is that they casted Ren Jiulan and Cheng Yi as the main roles. My guess it will be Ren Jiulan as Bu Chonghua and Cheng Yi as Wu Yu. I don`t know if i like the cast, i am still having a bit of mixed feelings about it, as i think Ren Jialun looks old ( he is not old , but he does look more old than other actors his age and has a different vibe than the character Bu Chonghua that he will most likely play as and Cheng Yi is just not someone i imagined playing Wu Yu. This is still a rumour in the early stages, so it might not turn out to be true, especially since Ren Jiulan has said that he will avoid staring in a danmei adaptation, since he is married and has a child, seen through i don`t know if is a completely personal decision or it was made in consideration to his fans, who also aren`t that supportive in his playing in a danmei adaptation, from what i observed. This rumour is not reliable at this point, it was not made by a reliable twitter account, but it might turn out to be reliable in the future, so i will edit the post if i come across something more.
I come across a reliable twitter channel ( the dramapotatoe) that has said that the rumours that A league of nobleman airing in august 9 were totaly fake. The rumours originated from a few weibo accounts who had the intention from the start to spread fake rumours. They are some rumours that are definitely fake, and we should this in mind all the time, sigh, some people just want to add salt to people wounds. Nothing reliable is known yet and not official announcement was made yet regarding the airing date, so nothing points out that it will released this year. Don`t put much hope on the fact that becasuse they were rumours that the drama should have been released in august 9, is an indication that it will be released this year, because is not. The drama was wrapped up filming in dec 2020, so it can be considered that is at the middle of the time that the cdramas take to be released ( who from what i observed has an average of one year- one year and half, sometime even two years for period costume dramas, and half year to one year for modern dramas.
Yes. The drama will be a danmei/ bl adaptation since the source material/novel is a bl novel. Well as long as the production company or/and the agency who has bought the rights from the author of the novel to make the drama adaptation try to adapt the drama as being true to the source material and not changing the relationship to be purely bromance. I believe is not known yet who has got the rights to the drama adaptation, hopefuly is a good one.
I saw this rumour and i am feeling down because Liu Xueyi being cast in this drama is bad news of him being cast…
Hahha. I also don`t like the romance in cdramas, i don`t even watch kdramas anymore, i am so tired of the same stories being repeated over and over again. I changed my taste years ago, when i switched watching mostly bl asian dramas and movies because of this reason. Now i mostly watch dramas and movies from Japan since they have more unique ans realistic stories and bl productions. When i said that i wish the drama will not change the story to turn the friendship in something more is that the cdramas tend to change the story when making adaptations, and just as i hate for things to not happen when i expected it, i also in equally way hate it when things are taken in a direction that it shouldn`t, as implying that something more is happening and in the end one of them end with the female lead. This thing can happen even with BG dramas , so it don`t matter, but i do hate it more when it happens with two male leads. Anyway is a bromance drama, so is possible i will not even watch it, but i do have to say that the fact that Liu Xueyi and Li Hongyi are in this it does make me want to watch it. And is a plus that this has a donghua adaptation, since i like to watch donghuas.
It' confirmed now a Youku S+ production starring Li Hong Yi and Liu Xue Yi. Yeah the director previously directed…
I saw this rumour and i am feeling down because Liu Xueyi being cast in this drama is bad news of him being cast in TA as a main role, since the filming will start soon. And yes, the drama will only be bromance, not bl. I am sure since the original source (novel) is not bl, but it does focus a lot in the relationship between the main leads from the snippets i saw from the donghua. I do hope the production team will not cross the boundary, by making the friendship between the characters look like something more. Only for bromance dramas to not get mixed with the dramas who are based on danmei novels. This rumour is most likely true, since this twitter channel is really reliable when it comes to the posts they make.
yesss I've been waiting so long for him to star in an S+ production and although it's a bl, still I hope the rumors…
The drama will be bromance, not bl. I know for sure the novel the drama is based of is not a bl/ danmei one. That's also why the drama don't have the censored same sex relationship tag that is am indicator of a bl drama/danmei adaptation.

Yes. Possible. I just saw as well that it will more likely be released in august 9.Is a tencent production too,…
I watched bl dramas/movies from asian countries for years and i also read yaoi mangas and danmei novels for a long time, i used the shounen ai and yaoi terms as related how danmei novels are categorized in novelupdates. When i said promoted, i refered to how the drama is considered by the watchers or targeted audience of this drama. Officially this drama will most likely be promoted as a mystery/invest drama, and will be considered unofficialy by some people as a bromance or danmei drama. I think the opinions will be divided, because it was know as a danmei adaptation at the beginning, and also because the novel is considered to be a danmei novel by the chinese fandom of the novel. Even that interview from the author will not stop fans of the novel to consider the novel as a danmei, and i think maybe this is why the drama is considered a danmei drama adaptation by some people. This drama is a particular case in the danmei adaptation dramas, because of the issue with the novel, so is hard to predict how the drama will will be received and perceived.
Yeah that is also what I'm getting from the book. I'm currently reading it on google translate and I'm having…
From what i know, in the danmei fandom from China the novel was known to be part of the shounen ai category, with very subtle hints of romance between the main characters, but it was still known as a bl novel, that`s why the novel was added in the shounen ai category in NU in the beginning and the author has to make that declaration that he novel is not bl, and is just a mystery/invest novel that has two male leads. I think if the novel was not bl in the first place, that interview the author made, was not neccesary, so it was probably made to clarify things because the drama production team has removed all traces of bl from the drama, who were scarce in the first place. It was still a shitty move on their part to make the author to say that, since she is an known danmei author. Is possible that the novel was writed to not be a bl novel, but the timing of the interview made by the author is suspicious. Why the author has chosen now to speak about this? But is possible, like even Priest has some novels that the story don`t have a couple at all.
