Don’t judge it by the first one or two episodes (or by the main character’s personality)

So underrated.
Hang on. Every episode get better and more interesting than the one before it.

In general, I don’t know or care much about character development, but this drama has one of the best ones.
I was slightly annoyed by Kim So Yeon's character at first, but upon second look she was a breath of fresh air, and the character really becomes better.
Park Shi Hoo has got a killer smile!
The leads are amazing, and so are their dynamics. I LOVE THEM

The instrumental OST is by Oh Joon Sung and it's really good. The songs will grow over you. And you’ll find yourself having unexpected feelings for the drama, in comparison to the ones you started it with.
I am someone who gets heavily influenced by the impression a drama gives me at first. but this drama makes up for any disappointments or bad expectations.

(I actually started this drama many years ago, watched half, and completed it now. And I love the first episodes more than the first time.)
I loved this drama. It's so beautiful to watch. The story was good, ending was good, the leads were good, music was good, all good in a K-drama way. It came close to heart.

The drama is intense, but it's relaxing

When every episode ends, it feels like a gentle wind is hitting my face.

Revenge is not my favorite trope, but I loved this story that kept going till the end. It was so good and entertaining.

Everyone stood out in their performance. Kang Baek San - This guy is an expert at playing a villain, it’s so funny now XD It’s ridiculous! .. Nam In Soon, Kang Bada, Grandma, I cried saying goodbye to them all in the final episode. I almost forgot Ma Daegeun XD

The lads Taepoong and Sandeul have the most amazing unbreakable friendship-- not even the love triangle got in between it.

I can't stop singing any of the OSTs. I haven't stopped since I started.

*****Now for my favourite part [TAEPOONG and BARAM]*****

Their love makes me smile ... Their soft gazes ... You'll not find a love story like this one, it's an unusual route

As I watched them, they crawled into the picture softly and beautifully, with small smiles, and comforting faces.

They broke my heart and put it back together. They were meant to be.

His love is so strong I am lost for words. The way he looks at her, it’s crazy, he’s so in love.
And the way he is hurting .. he is the most pitiful (ToT)
Where have you been this whole time Kang Ji Sub (taepoong)

How could Baram not fall for him when he does all that for her.
Park Ha Na nailed her emotions

the lines... the lines... THE LINES... they are so romantic! Don’t get me started

Unexpected, like its literal title 'You Who Rolled Unexpectedly'

This drama unexpectedly (like its literal name 'You Who Rolled Unexpectedly') gave me many laughs, some sincere tears, lots of love, and really really lovely romances.

I watched and enjoyed many family dramas. Yet this one sits somewhere near the top.

From the writer of many popular dramas: Crash Landing on You, My Love From Another Star, The Legend of the Blue Sea (yes these), I prefer this, My Husband Got a Family, way more.
And from the director of My Golden Life, a drama that grabbed my heart.

The main couple Kang Terry and Cha Yoon hee, who had the most screen time , did not make me sick once because they did the cheesy stuff a comic justice and entertained me the whole time. I guess their sincerity paid off. Beautiful Kim Nam Joo really did well, and the husband was amazing.

The in-laws were the typical Korean in-laws from dramas, AND MORE. Because once I thought I've seen something like this before, they take a sincere twist that either makes me laugh hard, or feel so touched.
No matter how mean, or senseless they were, there was an earnest explanation behind it. So I couldn't hate anyone.

Even those people whom I thought presented a useless presence like in other family dramas, were ones who touched me the most. The uncle's family that looked like leeches at first, Jang Goon made me laugh the most in the drama, and Go-Ok touched me the most unexpectedly.

I don't remember things being dragged for too long, it was always eventful, and most importantly: fun.

The romances are too beautiful to describe.
The way I described it when I watched the first half, there were lyrics of an Ost song that played, it went like: "when you look at the empty sky", that's how it felt. With that feeling, I just giggled silently and sank back further into my pillow.
But things (or feelings) don't end the way it started. In the second half I was able to feel things differently. Something like, 'I can feel how much they mean to each other fervently', should I say...? Which made me fall head over heals again.

Both (Yi-sook and Mal-sook) couples chemistry was notable and it was hard to root for one more than the other. I just went back and forth.

Speaking of going back and forth, there were scenes were I laughed for one second, had butterflies in my stomach the next, then laughed the next second, and felt the butterflies again, and went back and forth, back and forth like this, it was just emotionally overwhelming in a fun way. My nerves were so confused. ??

When I thought this was just like one of the other family dramas I guess I did not understand this sincerity it had. Coming back to it again made me realize what was different about it.
The story, characters and ACTING were so sincere.
And this genuineness made me so happy and caused me to cry at every trifle, because it was honest.

There were a few acts and flaws that I wished would change with time, but I guess there were not enough episodes to show it. (Did I mention that the drama is long? Ironic).
I guess I have to be content with the characters' development it had.

I want to talk about everyone, but I don't want to make it longer.

Just keep in mind...

Behind this old-fashioned-looking front, there is a lot to feel. And a lot that I did not reveal ?

Mi Hye’s story was my personal favorite!!

I would give at least a 9, if I was to rate the drama only on that part.

They used to call her a genius at the work she did, but she had big trouble concentrating. When she was all over the place, in a slump, hopeless at doing a good job, she met her savior who eventually becomes her sweetheart. And the rest is very lovely.

They made my heart flutter till the end. The way they smile and look at each other.
They had their differences, but they made it up by holding each other.
The two were very sincere. I felt how much they loved even when they were fighting. They are for each other, even when against each other.

Kim Woojin 'pyeonjibjangnim' and Kang Mihye, I can't get enough of them.

And Bang Jae Bum was the best jealous second lead. SO Funny all the time. I loved his pairing with the mom too. Doldam and Peter were cute. I went through the rest of the drama only for those in Mi Hye’s story.

The other stories were not that good. But the mothers and daughters emotions were there..

Mi Ri story started off well but then became uninteresting for me.
Mi Sun’s husband and in-laws served as some comedy, especially the old grandpa and his wife being at home.

And I liked the OST a lot

I want to go through that feeling again and again and again.

I feel like this drama numbed me from the world. Yes, that’s the expression. My head, my brain, all become numb, and time stops when I watch it.

One of a kind. I can’t believe it’s over. I am crying because I will miss them. I am the fangirl Baek Da Hye is here.

This show is recommended for non-diabetics. It may contain too much sugar sometimes.

Some may consider the story plain. But the execution was very good. Something that was consistent in the drama: Warmth.

The drama is so pretty and lovely!! ㅠㅠ

All pairings looked good together. Everyone’s chemistry is so good, couples and non-couples. Amazing cast. Very nice drama. I loved every moment. I never liked any ‘famous stars’ portrayals in drama but Tae Sung is the best (can’t believe it is the same too flowery, cheesy Oh Nam Joo from Extraordinary You). Jung Yeol-i is the cutest. And “Yuuuuuuuu Naaaa -yaaa” is one of my favourite lines. Ki-ppeum was a great friend. Han Byeol was the loveliest. Every single character is something amazing. The noteworthy lovely cute moments are uncountable.

Every scene ensured me of how good the directing is. Watching it felt soft.
The story is precious. The meaning behind it is beautiful. It is very informative. I laughed out loud so many times. And I sympathized so much with them. The writing was really clever at times. It was alive.

I don’t deny that the first 7 episodes were a ?☆ starry ☆ ? butterfly dream ‿︵εϊз . Those 7 episodes pulled me hard. And after that it because closer to regular kdrama. The drama became more about events and less about characters, but it was still lovely and meaningful. I was expecting more angst in the beginning; that was my only complain. But then it picked up again. The end episodes made up for it. It swiped me off me feet again. Finally, it closed with the vibe it started off with; the best way. What a perfect way to end the drama.
I forget how good this drama manages to make me feel. Then I start an episode, the numbing starts. It makes me feel something new every time.

The music was just good enough to give you drama feels. The ost slowly infiltrated me. One song sounded noisy at first, but it took its effect on me. And in another song the singers' voices resonated. When the drama ended, I cried listening to it because I didn’t want to leave.

Honestly, I was hesitant about the cast when it was announced, but I was sold for their visuals in the promo photoshoot. That manicure picture. It screamed chemistry. They were visually perfect for each other.
And beginning from the first episode, I could feel the not-yet-tangible, in-the-drama-air chemistry. It was already amazing and very entertaining! The directing was so good at showing invisible things. I had a feeling I would love their dynamics. By the second episode I was already in love (with their relationship).
Watching it, I experienced so many sweet feelings. Warmth took over my body from head to toe. After binging a few episodes my face was burning hot and felt red from the feelings simmering in my stomach, and from the pumps of blood my heart fired. I wanted to stop but I couldn’t allow the feeling to go. I woke up with music pieces playing, and their voices talking in my head. Their energy took an effect on me. I was becoming light and bubbly like Tae Sung and Han Byeol. They are holding my heart currently

I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. And I love how it feels like romance dramas from around 2017. I guess that’s even more why I was pulled.

MASTERPIECE.........Worth every episode

The writer is such a genius. I noticed it in all of her works so far. She has a knack for small details, doesn’t miss the tiny interactions, the smallest things, and pays attention to them, making every conversation feel REAL. And as usual, gives rise to amusing situations.

Her writing is witty, amusing, and engaging.

The downside of long dramas is that they prolong everything unnecessary and make it hard to be patient.
BUT it’s not the case in this one. This one is inherently slow and takes its time with caution and care, without becoming tiring, dull, boring or repetitive.

I liked everything. It is so slow, but witty that I am keeping up with it. Slow and steady. The good pacing makes you enjoy everything. It sticks to being natural, feeling like a slice of life. Can be watched with ease.

It is not a heavy melodrama like I thought. It gave me beautiful feelings. It deserves it

Every time I think of the soundtrack, a calmness washes over me

I’m not being poetic, that’s how I feel about the drama
It felt calm, healing, and warm.

I loooove them I love them. And I cannot take my eyes off when I see the way they look at each other. Both leads are so beautiful, and more dazzling when they smile.
And I rooted for them with all my heart.

It was a very enjoyable drama.
I can never hate the mother in law; I adore the actress and she’s so cute and funny.
I have respect for all the elder actors, they were amazing.

The way the main couple look at each other with warm eyes...
Ah my heart. The smile is so beautiful. It is all just so beautiful.
I loved the maturity of the leads
they are so healing, reliable to each other and a like a safe place to put your head on
I felt so happy and giddy watching it.

The main song feels smooth and soothing… I see loving eyes when I think of it

I almost gave it 8.5 because I skipped some parts of the side stories,
but the main story was SO heartfelt, and I couldn't .
It doesn’t mean the side stories were bad, most were fun, and I was too impatient to know what happens next with the main story.
Almost everything about the drama is amazing.
I loved it more because it was a beautifully narrated story.

The drama kept its pacing till the end, but I feel (like many said) that the highlight of the show was very brief and cut short. It needed more drama and more lingering shown. Many times dramas need to be shorter, but I wish this was a few episodes longer. That’s why I tried convincing myself to not give it a higher score. But no drama is perfect. It is special in its own way.
(I actually zipped my way to the end because I was too impatient, I am planning to go back and watch the side parts that I missed later)

Me and this drama were love at first sight. I loved the beautiful poster, but it was still airing. I finally watched it! And it wasn’t a disappointment.

I thought of skipping the review for this drama but it deserves recognition

It was very enjoyable. You can enjoy deeply written conversations, sweet and lovely moments, and hilarious situations throughout the drama. It never bored me and that’s not easy for dramas with such length. I smiled a lot and cried sometimes. It had a knack for creating amusing situations that I enjoyed, or maybe well-done cliches.

The main couple is SO Affectionate towards each other!! They give me the feeling of wanting to curl up and hug myself and smile. And the looks they give each other are full of love, affection and care. I want to see them hug the most. They are wise and mature despite the ever-growing love they have for each other. The FL is very lovely and the ML is so romantic. They were so natural and slowly burned. I loved it.

The grandmas deserve praise for being a great delight. And the parents were in a league of their own at stirring trouble. I enjoyed their quarrels and sympathized with the characters a lot and cried with them. Just like the drama title, it was an assortment of people trying to make a balanced family flavor.

Nicely written, meaningful and lovely. It had a beautiful and well-paced transition. My only criticism towards it is that I didn't like Kyle's acting. I would love to rewatch it some time.

The show is exciting from the very beginning till the end.

The fact that I can watch 10 episodes continuously WITHOUT feeling the need or being able to skip is itself saying a lot. And I think I can do it again. (Even though when I finished it, I said to myself "If I've ever gone crazy and thought of rewatching it,...")

At some point came one of my favourite actors of all time on screen, and this guy’s stance is no joke. From that point on the show cruelly stole my heart.

I couldn’t stop watching because of my hopeful pipe dreams. And the great drama threw my heart back and forth.

Strangely, I didn’t hate the villains, they were understandable. But I sometimes hated the main characters. They were the ones causing each other pain!

The confrontations between the characters were daunting. My emotions were overflowing when truths came out

I was engrossed in every part of it. It was full of ups and downs. It was breathtaking.

I thought that I’ve been there several times and that I can handle it and stand strong…

And I cannot say enough about the state the drama left me in…(writing it down took 2,189 words)

The OST’s amazingness goes without saying

I started this drama just to pass time. At first, I got tired of the continuous nonsensical fights in it.
When I almost stopped watching it, I saw thumbnails of some of the late episodes; a new face looking sad with love in his eyes, and I decided to hold on until that character is introduced.

Once the character came on, I started skipping everything else and binging one story. And the story was beautiful. Every new thing gets revealed was even more beautiful and made me fall deeper. The story took me through a roller-coaster of emotions.
That was the only couple I fell for. I loved how they were understanding each other. Even though they might have disagreements but they deal with it thoroughly like they both want to make it work and they take each other’s side even if they don’t make sense.
My rating could be a little inflated because of this part of the drama.

I still went back to watch the scenes I skipped because the other side characters were funny and meaningful. It grew on me.
All the characters go through a hateful phase, especially the very annoying mothers, but they can be very funny.

The only part I truly hated and never batted an eye to was the DJ. I couldn’t stand it from the beginning.
It is too long to rewatch, I don't think I'll think of doing that.
The instrumental OST was amazing. Sadly, I couldn’t find it anywhere. And the OST songs were lovely.

At the end everything wrapped up nicely. Thanks to this drama in many aspects, I feel revived.

The title should not draw you out

(the drama has nothing to do with baseball details but I have a simple explanation of the title at the end)

From the first episode, it was already Captivating me. The good feels took a lot of stress out.

The music, the Light tone, the Friendly tone, the Closeness and Loyalty.
I love how very Casual, Normal, Plain, and Easy-going it is!

Not an ounce of cheesiness. But mature, sensible, and beautiful relation. It’s free of stupidity.

Not the cliche type. It’s about a deep meaningful relationship.
Even though it seems like the standard trope at first glance, but it has more to it than what the eyes see. Unlike the usual friend to lover happening suddenly or accidentally this is Natural.

The mature and sensible and considerate method of approaching the border surprised me. It’s frustrating a bit that it takes very long but that’s the beauty of it.
The FL’s sincere smile was beautiful. I fell in love with the ML’s light-toned friendly personally. They had great chemistry. It melts my heart.

The OST keeps playing in my head, and it is represents the drama so well.

The drama was never meaningless. everything was done well and meaningfully. All relationships felt real. Some moments also hit deep.
GOLDEN drama. One of the best of the best.
To me, this is the ultimate happy relation drama.

After watching it, I looked up the meaning of the title and understanding this made me feel closer to the drama I loved:

I don’t know baseball well, but ...
- A baseball game consists of 9 innings (baseball rounds for each team). So the 9th inning is the last round of the game.
- Every team is allowed 2 ‘outs’ (like chances) and 3 ‘outs' means the team's turn is over.
- In the title '9 End 2 Outs 'or better said: '2 outs in the 9th inning', means that they have one ‘out' left before having their turn taken away in the last round of the whole game.
And it is up to you to make the analogy with the relations in the drama.
I hope it makes sense.

It’s a drama that I wanna watch again to notice all the details I didn’t the first time and things I missed. I love it.
I just wish it was exactly one episode longer.

Healing and a joy to watch

I am in awe. It is is so Meaningful and hard to come by. Precious and Beautifully written in many ways.

The drama started with a lot of fun, and the transition has been wonderful.

I loved when the characters were willing to change their lives for the one they love.
The courage to be different. The change of priorities.
It showed a whole different level of maturity.

I also loved the embracement of simplicity and living in the peaceful mountains. How it pushes the stressful and fake civilization to the side.

And I loved their love; how they were willing to throw everything away for each other.
And I love how her character admits to being weak and grows strong with the right acts.

Jak Doo is so pretty, and nice. And I like Uee best in this work.
The drama is soooo goooood nothing ever felt like a filler.
The other characters fill it with delight
And the accent!

One of the reasons I loved this even more; it is one of those dramas where there is a plot, a good one. Like how the story with the Gayageums integrated so well with what started as a romance.

I always ask myself, how much more can this drama make me cry, and it makes me shed one more tear from time to time.

Quality is superb. Music is good.

The romance is amazing and doesn’t get over with it but it is slow, and frustrating in a good way. Unlike usually, it keeps pulling at my strings when I think that the games are over…. The love is painful.

When I think about watching the rest of the drama my head hurts, I’m not sure if I can do it. My heart feels weak. And it’s tiring
What should I do with my weak heart? I love watching melodrama but my heart is weak, it can’t handle it. I am just at episode 30 and it hurts so much.

I should’ve known that I was in for a very cruel ride.
I had no appetite because of the withdrawal from the drama

I tried watching something light but out of all places it had to have a scene in a casino and a scene by the sea.
I can’t stand any similar scenaries, because I can remember painful things from the drama.
I had so many triggers
Dark scenes - no. Ocean and nature - no. Silence - no. Sad - no. Sweet - no. Serious - no. Gambling - no. Dialect - no. 19 - no. Soup - no. Square hairline no. Pretty women no. Smile no. Music - no genre works. Chorus of a song - no. Historical - no. Drama, melodrama, family, action - no. The actors - no. Nothing is left.

This is unfair. Why do I have t go to sleep thinking of it, dream of it, and wake up thinking of it. Thoughts that never came earlier occur.
The drama was very cruel. Everyone’s words were harsh and sharp enough to cut, everyone’s!! Every single character, no exception (except the sweet Gi Soon).

Although this was just a 25-30 episodes watch, it felt a LOT longer. It was exhausting. but I enjoyed it while watching. what a masochist I am…

How could one pass up such a cute and heartwarming beautiful drama

Sweet and touching. A little sad, a good amount of frustration, and easy to sympathize with.

It is up to par with so many great dramas, to me. A love triangle that I liked better than other love triangles.

Well-organized, well-paced, never-boring writing. Everything is placed correctly to ensure the quality doesn’t falter. Some moments get me to cry. And there is no bigger evil.

The drama is a joy.
And it feels real!

I love how natural It is. The main romance would have taken forever if not for the second lead and the jealousy factor.

The OST is great! And blended naturally with every scene.

I haven’t felt this kind of love in a drama since so long ago. Sincere and passionate (and with a degree of sadness and frustration). The kind I felt with dramas when I first started watching them. Maybe because of nostalgia.

After this drama, I render 2006 one of the best years for kdramas.

For me, the love started magically in the first minute of the drama, outside the gates. My heart started beating then. Beautiful music engulfed every scene and it was magical. That’s how the first two episodes went by. Then, I think we landed back on earth and reality was there. It was a bit boring with a little too much detail. But after a while I got used to it and simply cherished the beautiful people in the drama. I loved all the little sincere moments. It wasn’t that heavy but still with a sweet melodrama feeling.
The drama felt pure and innocent, free of bluntly expressed lust. Instead it was full of passionate love.
I like how this drama doesn’t hide the greed of people and show them as they are.

And it had great music. There was one addicting song that complimented the atmosphere.
