It looks like a beginning of the bigger story, so the sequel was thought. I doubt there will be any since it was a box office flop that made them lose millions.

alice in borderland is less gore , but it's more painful to watch because you get attached to the characters. Here it's more like random strangers getting killed in various cruel ways for no reason.
