And I'm pretty sure in ep 2 daughter was hit by the burnt car before, that's why there is a red thread at the scene, and also the reason why she walked limply before deliberately let another car hit her on the road, to cover her previous injuries. The details are amazing.

I also dropped it twice before finishing it after the film finished airing, cz I was curious how it would end, and didn't care much about the progress
It is as you said, the plot is super interesting at first, then I don't know why it keeps on messing around, it's not that bad to me but I lost the urge to continue watching it every single week
