I don't think I said anything you said was wrong (and neither did anyone who replied to you). I think some of your points are valid, and I'm offering a different interpretation of what we see. Re your points in the immediate response above I have my own interpretation, but we don't need to get into that. I was hoping to discuss, not argue, and your tone towards me and others who reply to you has soured any possibility for any civil discussion.

EDIT: I’m not interesting in you guys trying to defend and prove hat this drama isn’t messy, unrealistic and…
Re: her accepting the world: she did think it was a dream at first and then tried to die to wake up. When her first attempt failed she was too chicken to try to die again (makes sense!) I don't think it's "fast" but more to her nature of "rolling with the punches" and now try to conclude the story so she can wake up. Obviously the plot is getting more and more out of her control, but as far as I know she's still trying.

Re: her not admiring defeat: she was trying to do a nice thing for the oldest princess. She can't admit defeat till Yuanyuan gets there to see her. If there's anything that's unrealistic here, that's QQ's devotion for her not-real sister, but maybe she's just kind. I also don't think she's dumb. She's super duper reckless in her schemes, doesn't check everything thoroughly, and is really astoundingly dense when it comes to romance. She even knows how to use Zhuge Liangg's strategy with Meng Guo! She knows Yingying was up to no good and tried to let him reveal his plot while in the process use him for her own purposes (i.e. get the plot back on track by letting Chuchu become Crown Princess).

Re: her taking so long to respond to Han Shuo feelings: according to the preview, it should come soon! Right now she's already slowly aware of her own feelings, and finally admits that he likes her. At first she was wary of him, was too confident in her knowledge of her own fictional characters. As far as she knows, he is: 1/"fated" with Chuchu, 2/murderous (his solution to everything is always, "kill"), 3/ fictional! 4/doesn't belong to the world she wants to return to. I honestly can't blame her for hesitating.

The drama is overrated so far IMO. Not worth 8.9!! It is cute but come on now. They shouldn't show the ML's hands...his…
It's quite hard to keep up the comedy like this show does. The story is super meta and well done, character development makes sense, everyone has a goal they're working towards, and most of them are relatable. I don't think it's rated highly just because of its cuteness. It has that it factor that makes it a crack drama. I don't think people realize how hard it is to construct a story with an actual plot that keeps progressing in a way that makes sense. In that way, this drama is higher quality than many others that supposedly have a "deep" plot but fail to meet what they promised.

It's available on youtube and Viki, though the release is a bit slower than we tv. We tv monthly is not that expensive, this drama is worth it!

I am tired of QQ pushing HS to her sister and with all her unsuccessful ideas. I think it's too long already.…
Not sure about the ep 18 spoilers but the previews for ep 15-16 show them being together kissing and sleeping next to each other.

Title Ming Dynasty
I think the youtube channel is slowly updating the sub to be correct. If you go back to earlier eps you can see…
yeah if that comment is no longer there it means they're done fixing. (its still subpar but definitely better than the automated version they released at first). I highly recommend using dimsum.my if you're in Asia, or use subscene (they get their subs from there). The sub is high quality!

can someone tell me when they find this subbed for real, not google translate?
you can use doramax264 (just google it and everything else should be self-explanatory; not sure how much I'm allowed to say here!) But if you're in Asia, just go to dimsum asia the subscription service!

It's most likely just me - but I'm starting to find the story line lacking. There's no real depth in the characters…
The story definitely gets repetitive, but I find that if I skip those scenes and watch the more important storylines, it's still very good. The characters are complex I thought - the women in particular are so much smarter than the men, and so complex. Even in our two leads are complex - they're neither good nor bad. They can be ruthless, but also devoted.
