After watching up to 22 episodes, I can say the eldest brother is rather naive and not street smart - that's why he got easily cheated by that gold digger lady; her demure, gentle & docile woman-acting was too perfect (in my opinion). In fact, he is clever academically (he got 1st in the Exams, after all) but life experience-wise, he is totally dumb. He doesn't know much about women in general, and he is not patient nor understanding or even compassionate (based on his treatment of his own wife). Sometimes, I wonder how women in the past ever survived... LOL....

This is one of the longer Cdrama title and it is a spoiler too... LOL

But it was not real life in the end though; more like drama real life... LOL. But it was a sweet happy ending and I am content.

I love this short drama; it is short, funny, cute and sweet. :D

The ML ended up in jail? wow, what a good spoiler. I am one of those who couldn't get into the drama too. I watched the trailer and a bit of episode 1, and I don't get any attraction to watch this drama. Thanks for the spoiler... LOL... :))

Yeah! I was also surprised to find Viki has managed to sub the episodes so quickly. In the past, I always get annoyed with Viki because they are behind in subbing the dramas. I still watch Viki's version because I find their dubbing is much better and makes the dramas more understandable, hence, I put up with the delays. Perhaps the subbers for this Song of Youth are super fans of this drama and hence the quick work. :))

I have watched The King's Woman, Eternal Love, Love Designer and Pretty Li Hui Zhen, and I just don't like her acting in these dramas. For me, she doesn't seem to be bringing her best to these characters, and they ended up being flat and one dimensional. Off course, many find her to be beautiful and gorgeous, but when I am watching dramas, I like to see the acting over the visual. These are only my opinions, so no haters please.... LOL... :))

I will always remember Winter Sonata. I first heard about K-dramas in 2003 from one of my friends because she was watching Winter Sonata at that time. This drama name got stuck in my mind. I used to make fun of her obsessions in watching this Winter Sonata because I found it amusing that she would run home immediately after work just to continue watching the episodes of Winter Sonata. Those days there were only DVDs and no online streaming websites like Viki or Netflix to watch Korean Dramas (not that I was aware of). So apparently she was sharing the DVDs from someone, and she would gush about this drama so much.
Anyways, it is ironic for me now, after many years, it was only in early 2018 that I started to get hook on Korean dramas with my first K-drama "Oh My Ghostess". And there's no turning back now.... hahaha...

I actually dropped this drama after 4 episodes, because I got frustrated that the FL ran away from the ML without telling him anything. That was mean of her. Perhaps at the time I was watching this drama, I was not in the mood for this type of "stupid drama" (hahaha....). Anyways, perhaps I will pick it up again in the near future because I really like Ha Ji Won (she's my favorite actress).

I will not watch this drama even though there's a lot of hype about it. Personally I never liked Dilraba; I am not impressed with her acting, this is my own opinion. I am currently watching Song of Youth, starring Bai Lu, and to me, she is a great actress and so natural and beautiful.

Yang Zi doesn't have a good figure? Seriously? I think she has a good figure, being tall and slim. What kind of beauty standard does C-Ent have? I mean, once she is dressed up in those voluptuous costumes, nobody can see her figure any more...SMH...

Is D-addicts only for the english subs? where can I find the drama itself with english subtitles? if there is none, then where can I find the drama so that I can download the episodes and then link the english subs later? Thanks for your help

Detective L is really great. It is a pity there is no Season 2
