I binge watched the first 8 episodes although I must admit I fast forward a lot. This is so toxic that it’s somewhat addicting. Not impressed with the others’ performance but Zhang Binbin is effective in his role!
Based on observation, physically, Dilraba suits men who are manly — big built, evidently taller, mature looking men. It registers better on screen because it looks balance compared to pretty boys or young adults. Like on this show, they look good together!

i just found out it’s released on kuaishou (douyin’s competitor) so that explains it. best to go in with low expectations for this to be a pleasant surprise.

The first chapter only aired for 4 days. I initially had no expectations from this show. But I’m glad for the cast and crew it’s raking good results. A good number of locals are tuning in and it’s getting 1st in TV drama rankings. Their hard work wasn’t put in vain.
Zhao Lusi’s character Tian Zao breaking 9 on Vlinkage, not just once. This is her first TV drama. It’s a successful attempt to transition to another platform and tap a wider demographics.
