The main storyline of this drama was very sweet and angsty and intriguing - but just the main storyline, the rest I skipped, I admit it freely. The story of Professor Jung & his TA Kim Geum was still worth watching, though.

I loved the re-incarnation storyline, that Professor Jung & Kim Geum actually switched between genders - and species, ha! And I loved their connection, that Professor Jung thought that nobody ever took his side, that nobody ever stood up for him when Kim Geum had always been there. It was really sweet.

Another thing I loved was that the actress playing Mrs. Fairy looked older than the actor playing Kim Geum. Usually, when an immortal being finds his or her lost love reincarnated, said love interest is of the “proper” - read cliché - age: when it’s a woman, she’s younger looking than the immortal man, when it’s a man, he’s older looking than the immortal woman. Like I said, cliché. But here, Kim Geum wasn’t just younger - 699+ years younger - he also looked younger. And not just because Mrs. Fairy took the appearance of a granny from time to time. There was a 10 year age gap between the actors!

Also, I loved the fact that their kids were… unusual. I mean, one was a shape changing tigress, the other was a huge dragon. And especially tiger girl loved Kim Geum even before she found out he was her long lost dad reincarnated. Funny thing when your daughter looks almost as old as you, ha!

So, yeah, the main storyline is great. The rest… eh.
