I mean, there were lot of hints throughout the drama that Tsubame and Kei were into each other. You could def tell Tsubame in particular was into him and that Kei cared about her so that kiss didn't come out of nowhere. I think it's a matter of the individual viewer deciding if they can see the chemistry or not.
This drama is so much fun lol. I binged through all the episodes in a week, I couldn't stop watching. Yes, there's lot of over-acting, sometimes cringey and it's frankly improbable how many problems got solved with speechifying, but it was such an enjoyable ride, I loved it. Gakkou Kaidan also made a lot of deep points about hierarchy and inequality in society, even if I didn't agree with some of the conclusions. Also there are so many young actors and actresses in this drama who became big later on, it was fun seeing their fetus forms XD 8.6/10 from me.
