I feel like this drama is kinda draggy and repetitive.
I take back what I said. Ep. 9 picked up and got really interesting and I'm hyped for the finale. Nevertheless, the first 6-8 episodes of this drama have been really slow paced, draggy, with repetitive dialogue, scenes and flashbacks. I am enjoying from ep. 8 or so onwards because the pace has finally quickened and the plot is actually moving forwards.
can you believe she's 14 like dude she looks older than her age lol.
Most of the negative feedback was... Deserved. But I still find fun, which is why I rewatch it sometimes. I didn't like it so much when it was airing, but honestly I found the romance was actually touching,, the sci fi aspects weren't too bad at all and the OST is a complete banger. I would recommend watching it when you have nothing else and are bored out of your mind :)
Guys, I'm confused. I thought Eunjung got an internship at some big corporation, they even showed her in the office. But then in Ep. 2, she's a full timer at the restaurant? That's the position she worked really hard for?
planning to watch Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai very soon! can you recommend to me his must-watch works? :)
Kishibe Rohan is a character from Jojo and apparently the drama was based on stories from the manga. You don't need to know anything about Jojo to watch it, I certainly don't.

Kishibe Rohan was surprisingly good. I'm not a manga person but I'm genuinely considering reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventures. As always, he killed that role too.

Lol, I myself am currently trying going through his filmography. So far, I loved his roles in Wife of a Spy, Until I Meet September's Love and ofc Tengoku to Jigoku. I'm going to check out Quartet, Ryu no Michi, Mikazuki, and a bunch of other dramas & movies, they have a lot of hype.

I just watched "A Melody to Remember" and imo she did great in it as a 9yo orphan dealing with the trauma of war and the loss of her parents. Also, in "Memories of the Alhambra", my guilty pleasure kdrama, she was funny and endearing as the shipper-on-deck younger sister of the FL. In both of those roles, there was no over acting. I think in Hello, Me she's just acting according to the director's instructions.
Look how they massacred my boy Hibiki's entire character arc. Plus, it seems they keep adding more and more outlandish ways to keep Hibiki and Kurumi apart and I could not care less. Their romance just doesn't make me feel anything and all it does is torture Hibiki and lead him to bad decisions.
Damn I'm starting to hate Hibiki! I know he shouldn't abandon his girlfriend, but what about his friends, who…
Kurumi is such an annoying character, I wish they would remove her. Hibiki says he's always dreamed of having a family but the moment she appeared, he seems to have forgotten all about that.
Honestly, same, if S2 keeps going down this path I may drop it. It's disappointing because this drama and Mokomi both showed so much promise but I'm thinking of dropping both.
Well, I guess that’s instant karma for Hibiki for betraying his friends...
I mean, he was prepare to endanger all of their lives just so he could be with this girl... who previously murdered one of their friends... kept quiet about her infection and then to proceed all about Hibiki...
With each episode, my belief that Kanae should be the FL is strengthened. She's not an angel - she can be ruthless when times comes to be pragmatic - but at least she is not *as* selfish as Kurumi. This woman knows she is infected and she may have infected one of Tsuboi's people but still chose to stay silent about it. Moreover, Kurumi brings out the worst in both Hibiki and Todoroki (although that man was always garbage, never forget).
