I loved Count of Monte Cristo! Dean looked so handsome in those suits and it was a very suspenseful, tense series even if the ending was a bit of a miss for me.

I loved the book that Byakuyako was based on but the drama was a bit too slow imo.

Yoshikawa Ai and Aoi Wakana seem solid and apparently Hashimoto Kanna isn't doing too bad, as per the first ep.

Look, Kubota Sayu is absolutely gorgeous and Ouji is cute but their hair in this drama doesn't suit them imo

He's basically telling his past self that things do get better :) I found it very moving tbh. A lot of young people, including me, thought the world was always going to be dark but there is always hope.

I actually disagree, I feel like this version had way more emotional depth. I could feel everyone's love towards each other and the friendship between the characters; in the original, there was no chemistry at all and everything felt lifeless.

I agree though that the Korean drama def had more comedy and the ending had more details in it. I'm satisfied with how the jdrama ended, I just wished it was less rushed.

Maybe try Kamisama no Karute?

Not really, I hate how Grandpa cheated on his wife with an underage student (!!!) but noone except Shunsuke or the mom thinks that's weird. That and how Shunsuke's plot was not resolved are my main problems with this drama.

I don't think Kurumi will turn into a golem, isn't she supposed to medically special in that regard?Then again, it's Shuto who said this so who knows

Kanae can 100% do better than such a jerk... And didn't she lowkey hate him in the first few episodes of this season? I hope they just become friends and that was just an encouraging hug lol

Kanae and Hibiki have more chemistry imo... Even though they built up Hibiki and Kanae as this great love story. Maybe bc we've never seen them interact outside of flashbacks, Hibiki x Kurumi doesn't make sense to us.

Although, behind the scenes, Marie and Ryoma seem more like best friends XD
