However, after watching My Mister (which is a great drama), and just observing the effects of adultery on people, I have lost all sympathy for cheaters. People who commit infidelity irrevocably break their partner's heart, leaving the person unable to trust and emotionally traumatized for life. And in this case, there were children involved? Imagine the pain they and Anne Watanabe are going through. I have no sympathy for cheaters, whether they are rich and famous or just normal people like you or me.
And yes, celebrities might receive harsher penalties; but that's because we need to hold these people to account. Otherwise, people with money and power will continue to flout all decency and morals because they know they can get away with it. That's how MeToo or the current bullying scandals in South Korea happen. I am not saying that we should send death threats or other forms of harassment. I am just saying they need to be held accountable and if that means they won't get another role in the film industry, then that's okay. They already have wealth that the rest of us can't even dream of, they can afford this punishment

It was a good ending in that things kind of worked out for the characters but imo something was missing. Todoroki is still not redeemed as a character, despite of his sudden heroics out of nowhere, is generally an asshole and indirectly has so much blood on his hands; I cannot empathize or like him as a character at all. Him being paired up with poor Kanae doesn't sit right with me at all. (Didn't she hate his guts before?)

And I feel things were somehow resolved too quickly in ep. 10. Like the cavalry just shows up out of nowhere and dispatches a base full of dead soldiers and civilians easily? It didn't feel satisfying at all!
Anyways, I still really liked this drama, despite all of its flaws. I cannot wait for season 2, where I hope they fix the problems with the plot and characters.
