So far this adaptation is very loyal to the original, but this is also the reason why Im getting bored. I dont…
I mean, it is not an exact 1:1 adaptation. They changed how Mio and Motoharu met, the conflict with the Egawa in-laws and hopefully, I think they might not include the infidelity plot point.
To anyone wondering whether they should watch this: a 7.8 for a jdrama is the same as a 8.5 for a kdrama on this biased site. So far, this drama is an interesting adaptation of the original with good acting and an exciting storyline.
As for the other thing, I had your complaint about the original. For all the good acting, cinematography and production…
Lol, I started off watching only watching kdramas constantly but recently I've pivoted mostly to jdramas with occasional Chinese and Thai shows so fair enough.
With every flashback they show, I feel so bad for Mio and so annoyed with Motoharu. You can see Mio go from a happy young woman to an angry, depressed, overworked housewife, the joy getting crushed out of her... Honestly, great acting by Hirose Alice and the ML.
Up til now, there were basically no conflict and no major high-stake plot lines but this drama has still somehow managed to be a masterpiece. Such talented writers.
don't fight me but man, the dynamics between the second couple is what (i felt) iotnbo should be. i didn't enjoy…
There was that scene early in IOTNBO where Ko Munyoung basically groped a shirtless Gang-tae and that made me so uncomfortable. What made it worse was so many ppl defended it. See Dan-ah would never do that, she knows at least some limits.
Do you know the name of the Suda Masaki song? I want it on Spotify! You were right, ep. 5 was great!
Oh, I loved the drama Perfect World, it was one of the first jdramas I watched, I didn't even know who Suda Masaki was then! I should watch the movie too sometime.
