As others have said, the story was nothing special but it was entertaining and all the actors did a good job. If you like crime/detective stories, then this is a good movie to pass the time. 8.5/10.
A show that combines The Walking Dead, Lost, Maze Runner but is honestly better than of all of them combined. Asian sci fi shows are usually really bad but this was awesome and kept me spellbound through all the episodes. 100% recommend it if you like mystery, suspense, thriller, survival, romance and detective genres. 8.9/10. Really underrated.
Such a good drama! While I can't say I disregarded the experiences of the differently abled before, this really opened my eyes to the challenges they go through, though not everyone is as "lucky" as Ayukawa or have such a great support network.
Although I wasn't sold on the chemistry between the leads, their acting was solid, as was that of most of the cast. ML really got into the skin of the character, making us empathize with Ayukawa's pain. FL also did a great job portraying a woman who would do anything for her love, including giving him space and freedom as a person with his own agency. The sister, Haruto and the friend effectively did their roles, too.
The love story was inspiring and just wholesome tbh. The themes of always supporting and giving aid to disabled people when they need it but also letting them manage on their own and not letting them feel like burdens, smothering someone with love vs giving them space to grow, what support and care looks like in healthy relationship were all well done. And I loved how all of Ayukawa and Haruto's friends and coworkers were always caring and supportive.
I would give this a 8.9/10. A very inspiring story of a man who finds the strength to go on after a tragic accident and the woman who is always there for him.
If you are interested in crime, thriller, mystery genres than Cdramas are killing it recently. Check out "The Bad Kids" and "Kidnapping Game" - the latter has romance as well, if that's your thing.
Much like "The Bad Kids", this is one of the best recent Chinese dramas I've watched. it started off a little…
Only thing that bothered me was that we never get to know what happens to our star-crossed lovers or even if Tian Peng gets punished for his crimes. Obviously Yu Hai and Shen Yun are gonna face some sort of penalty, but it would have been good if we got some closure. Did she get a reduced sentence? Did they end up together? etc.
