What an amazing movie. It started off very slow and confusing; I'm not Korean so I didn't know most of the context and the historical figures. But wow, I got so engrossed in this tale of brave, ordinary people standing up against a cruel regime, knowing well that their families and very lives on the line. The last half hour just broke me emotionally, fantastic movie, 9.5/10. I would recommend everyone to watch, this is necessary viewing. Bravo to all the courageous and patriotic pro-democracy activists who risked everything so that their country and people could be free.
It also means when something is completed, but yeah the primary meaning is sexual. I want to know the thought…
I watch Kdramas mostly through Netflix and their translators do skip a lot of the nuances. Sometimes it doesn't matter (have you noticed how they say "punk" a lot and skip a lot of the honorifics?) but other times you might miss a lot of details that are important to the plot. I don't have a lot of experience with these sorts of things but I think Viki has the best model - a team of dedicated fans who translate everything, providing proverbs, cultural context, honorifics, literal translations.
She's so cute and talented, I can't believe she's just one year older than me. She was good in Unexpected, let's see how she is in *ahem* Consummation.

"fumigating the dead in-laws" made me laugh lol. In all honesty, Chinese companies should consider hiring bilingual translators who have experience with the English language *and* understand the nuances of Chinese languages and cultures to create English content for their dramas, the way Crunchyroll does. It'll help them achieve greater popularity outside China.
Oh, the wrist grab. I wince every time I see it. Even more so when the woman is dragged for a while before finally…
I think you misunderstood the last example you mentioned; like, Itaewon Class had a lot of flaws but racism wasn't one of them. The reason the staff was so freaked out, from what I can remember, was because none of them spoke English and they were worried they might lose profits and make the pub look bad, hence why they turned to Toni to speak with them.
I think a better example, or at least a scene that stood out to me, would be that time in Man x Man when everyone in a subway car freaks out because a black man stands up and walks towards a celebrity. He just wanted to get an autograph but everyone is terrified... because he's black.
As others have said, the story was nothing special but it was entertaining and all the actors did a good job. If you like crime/detective stories, then this is a good movie to pass the time. 8.5/10.
A show that combines The Walking Dead, Lost, Maze Runner but is honestly better than of all of them combined. Asian sci fi shows are usually really bad but this was awesome and kept me spellbound through all the episodes. 100% recommend it if you like mystery, suspense, thriller, survival, romance and detective genres. 8.9/10. Really underrated.
