The actors and actresses all did well in this drama. I just had a problem with the storyline. I don't know where the writers got their idea to write this script. I mean the main lead, Song Hye Kyo character Dong Eun was very cunning and slick to avenge her family's murder. That part of the storyline I did like. The part that bothered me was that the police didn't believe anything she said when that murder happened. It reminded me of the Law Enforcement officers in the United States, most don't believe what the Black and Brown people have to say. I learned that through experience. In the storyline, if the investigating officers believed her as a victim, she wouldn't have gone through all the sneaky and cunning ways to get revenge. The writers did a great job in writing Dong Eun's schemes. What I did get out of this storyline is a Mother will do anything for her children. I loved the house of Choi Kang Ho played by Lee Do Hyung.

Kang Daniel (Wi Seung Hyun) being that this was his first drama, was really good. I heard about him on Twitter since he is a former KPop Wanna One member. I love his solo songs and I really hope that this will not be the last Kdrama he does. Chae Soo Bin (Go Eun Gang) also did pretty well in this drama. It was kind of goofy in the beginning, but the writers put some serious business in the storyline. It has some humor in it. Although this is a police drama, and I really don’t like police dramas or movies, this was okay. The visuals were good, and the costumes, well, look policy, lol. I must say there was a lot of action for these students. Of course, there is always one person who decides to run things in the storyline so that made it extra. I hate women abusers!

This was different for me because I love the main actress, Jackie Li, who played the role of Liu Jin Feng. I congratulate her for snatching this role. For her to play alongside Li Hong Yi, wow, amazing. Her personality came out in her character. I love her! She is really good! Li Hong Yi just recently became one of my favorite actors, so I know he did very well, playing opposite of Jackie Li. I laughed so much and cried a little, but happy every worked out in the end. The storyline I was able to tolerate because of the two main leads. Yes, there was an ending, but I will not talk about it. Thanking all the supportive actors and actresses in this drama. The fantasy was great in this drama. Kim Jung Hyun (KKok Du), I like this actor, and has a beautiful smile. His role had to be kind of hard to perform playing a Deity. Death no doubt! He played his role and made his death character a little humorous and he is handsome. I became emotional watching this drama. Im Soo Hyang (Seol H), who fell in love with this Deity. She played her part very well and felt that both she and Kim Jung Hyun had good chemistry. I don’t know if this would be a rewatch for me because this subject is hard for me as I have lost several members of my family. I guess this is why I cried because this is the type of death I wish we had. There is a twist to the ending, I hope you enjoy it.

This drama received a 10 from me. I love historical dramas that have no competition in getting their person romantically. I love how it all works out in the end. Let me talk about Park Hyung Sik who played Yi Hwan, Oh my goodness, him all of him, what a great vocalist he is. The song he sang in Hwarang is memorable and fantastic. He did excellent in Hwarang and is really great in this drama. Hwarang was the first K-Drama that I watched and got hooked on BTS. Thank you Park Hyung Sik! Jeon So Nee (Min Jae Yi) played her part very well and so did Pyo Ye Jin (Jang Ga Ram), Yoon Jong Seok (Han Sung On), Lee Tae Sun (Kim Myung Jin), and Heo Won Seo (Tae Gang (Yi Hwan's Guardian Warrior) who played the main characters and they were all great.

The fantasy in this drama, the martial arts, the visuals, and the music, had my emotions running all over the place. This fantasy drama is high up there. The butterflies are so beautiful even if they are animations. The chemistry between Yang Chao Yue who played Chong Zi and Jeremy Tsui who played Luo Yin Fan was very believable. I cried and cried; it was so beautiful. And another somewhat confusing ending. It didn’t end in death just more spiritual which is different. Asher Ma (Zhuo Hao) and one of my favorite actors Deng Wei who played Qin Ke were excellent. It was still a great story. Thanking the crew of The Journey of Chong Zi. I really loved this drama. The visuals and fantasy were all great. The storyline was awesome except for that last episode, I mean it was good don’t get me wrong but the ending ended like there was going to be a good ending but then in the last 10 seconds of the episode it didn’t seem like an ending. It just left you hanging. I went on the web and found there were supposed to be extra episodes 41 and 42 but that never happened so I was upset. I’m not trying for anyone to stop watching this drama it is excellent and I was satisfied all the way until the last 10 seconds. You will have to watch it to understand what I mean but please don’t skip all the episodes to watch the last 10 seconds or you will miss an excellent drama.

Chen Xing Xu was so darn good as the Empyrean Xuan Shang, I don’t know how else to describe him. I love this actor. I almost didn’t recognize who he was until the 2nd episode. To change into 3 different types of personalities and play his original character of a total of 4 personalities was crazy excellent. I fell in love with the Fire character. Lol. Landy Li (Li Guang Ye Tan), her playing this role, and I want to see more of her. This is my second time watching her and really didn’t get her in the first drama. The way she played her character was really good. A lot of emotions I felt. Luke Chen (Chao Feng) and He Xuan Lin (Li Guang Qing Kui), these two, wow, were great, Luke Chen is very handsome and He Xuan Lin she played that very nice and mannered character, she was lovely.

The visuals, fantasy, costumes, graphics, animations, and music are excellent. I thank all the actors and actresses who also played great, I applaud them. Thanking all of the team that made this drama a success for me.

I love these kinds of drama. I had to watch it twice before I reviewed it. I love that Li Hong Yi is in this story but as a supporting actor, he did awesome playing the part of Su Zui. Kudos to Li Hong Yi! Zhang Hui Wen, I loved her character Mo Yan, and her acting skills as a Martial Artist, I loved her, she was awesome. Caesar Wu, I didn't think I see this actor before but he played in Meteor Garden which was an excellent drama. So I need to rewatch. He did very well playing Zhan Zhao and I mean he was seriously playing the part. I felt his character didn't have a heart for a minute. But that quickly changed. Zi Fan

I was truly upset about watching this drama and it also angered me that I continued watching it. I gave this a lower rating but I was thinking about the actors and actresses that they actually did very well in the parts they played. I blame the writers for the storyline. First of all, I felt very bad that a great actor played a role that killed the character he played. You don't know how many times I wanted to drop this but I kept on watching it. Go Hyun Jung (Jung Hee Joo) was so believable, I wanted to reach into the screen and scold her character. This is why I rated all the acting cast a 10. Just like I wanted to reach into the screen to scold Jung Hee Jee, I wanted to do the same to Choi Won Young character Ahn Hyun Sung and tell him to stop doing what he was doing to Jung Hee Jee and Soo Woo Jae. I would be angry too if I was Seo Woo Jae played by a great actor Kim Jae Young. Just know I hated the whole storyline. I hate the fact they didn't tell the truth to Seo Woo Jae that he had a son and then his memory came back just to be killed. ughhh I never want to watch a story like this.

The story in this drama was strange to me but they played it off. The stories of couples and their relationship was intriguing to me. I am happy that Ji Chang Wook (Park Jae Won) was the lead in this drama. I love his acting and what he brings to the screen. He brought his character to life and of course, he made Park Jae Won come alive. Kim Ji Won (Lee Eun Oh) did very well in this drama. I didn't think the chemistry was not there with Lee Eun Oh. Their ending was also strange but it also came okay. The other actors/actress who plays in main roles did their jobs. I did have a problem believing one actress but I will not say a name. Why mention it you ask? Well, I want to see if your reviews will see that as well. Thank you to all the supporting actors/actresses the story wouldn't be told without them. OMGoodness this was so sad. Does this job really exist in South Korea? I mean this brings awareness of what a person goes through when they pass and all the things that might be important to them. Lee Je Hoon who plays the character of Cho Sang Gu did very well. This is a hard part to play and the way he performed this character is very believable. In the Drama, they mentioned that Cho Sang Gu has Asperger's syndrome and the description says Autism. There is a difference between both diseases. I have two grandsons with Autism. Tang Jun Sang who played Han Geu Roo, I loved his role as uncle and how the uncle was defiant in the beginning and learned by the end of the story. Hong Seung Hee who played the cousin of Cho Sang Gu was adorable as Yoon Na Mu. I loved her character. Thanking all the writers, directors, producers, and supporting actors/actresses. I love the actor Li Hong Yi (Bai Yue), there is something about his stature that amazes me. He is very tall. His acting is kind of different from others I have viewed. At least he didn't have to bend his neck to his co-star that much. lol, I loved his character but why is it always a triangle or a quad with different partners? At least the writers got their story right. Huang Ri Ying (Ye Xi) played her character as strong-headed, stubborn but nice... what a combination. Her character wanted to help and keep everyone alive no matter how evil they were. It all comes back to her. You will know what I mean if you watch this drama.
I like this actress but I have to see more from her to know the type of actress she is. Zhu Zan Jin (Cang Qi), this actor was really good because his character anger me to high heaven and back to hell. OMG, he got on my nerves with his back-and-forth death threats. When an actor can pull my emotions out that means they are good. I won't tell you the ending because that's just not right. The fantasy and Li Hong Yi in the martial arts scenes, it was phenomenal. I watched this for the 2nd time today, Feb 23, 2023, and the first time was on Mar 7, 2020. This is a new review. My other review was totally messed up. I understand the storyline now after watching it a 2nd time, although I'm confused about how it started. I loved both Li Hong Yi and Zao Lu Si. The was my first time watching the performance of Li Hong Yi. I did fall in love with his voice. The charisma of his voice is beyond my many years of living. Wow! I really had to focus on the storyline to understand what I was watching. Zao Lu Si was trying to find True Love and she couldn't find it in the present day and went back to historic China to find it. (This is where I became confused) Was she in a coma in historical China and time-traveled to the future or was it vice versa? Because she surely didn't... well you have to watch it to know what I mean. I ended up really liking the storyline but did get mad because of Zhao Lu Si's character going back n forth, that got me a little dizzy. I loved the fantasy, the martial arts, and the wardrobe. I love that cape hoodie at the end on Li Hong Yi. Now the music kind of reminds me of another drama I watched. Thanking all the support actresses and actors. I loved it, I love 3 warriors who got together to save the capital. I love martial arts, so this had plenty of that going on. There was no fantasy but the martial arts and sword dancing were really good. Joseph Zeng is so believable playing Little Rock Yang. I thought I was actually a historical live stream. Chao Yue (Wen Rou), was fun, perky, and had a lot of energy with her character. I love her! Liu Yu Ning (Cabbage), all I can say is all viewers be warned, you will be shocked. Very believable acting. Baron Chen (Su Meng Zhen), I cried for him, I mean his character. He played a strong character but you will have to watch this drama. Meng Zi Yi ((Six Half Hall), I threw my shoe at the TV and I wanted just to grab her out and have a nice long talk with her character! I applaud all the supporting actors/actresses like I always do because they deserve a standing ovation. The visuals... excellent! The storyline... perfect! Martial Arts... incredible. Loved Season 2.

This was nice! I love Kim Min Jae (Yoo Se Poong) I loved how he became persistent in clearing his character's name. I didn't realize how tall he was until I saw him standing next to Kim Hyang Gi (Seo Eun Woo) who did very well playing the widow. You will have to watch Season 1 to find out why she was a widow. Kim Sang Kyung (Kye Ji Han) who played the father and leader of the medical crew, was very delighted by him. I loved how became a protector at night ninja style. lol, I cried, I laughed, and even threw my shoe at the TV... Finally, an ending that was solemnly good and at peace.
