To me, slow-burn romance is when thereās no kissing or outright flirting or bickering between the leads, yet you can still feel the tension and attraction quietly brewing beneath the surface ā through their eye movements, pauses, body language, deep breaths, subtle gulping, or even the silence lingering between conversations. Itās actually not easy to pull off this kind of romance because the actors need very strong chemistry and emotional control to make viewers feel something without explicitly showing it. But this drama definitely has it. Up to this point, the two leads havenāt even hugged each other even when the FL was mourning, no silly drunk scenes or piggyback rides, yet the tension is already palpable.
