But yeah you were eight . The plot is refreshing. Normally we don't see 2 main couples. And personally I've never seen the second female lead being in a love triangle. That's something new. Finally!

Sometimes I end up thinking that it will be faster to learn Korean rather than wait for it to get subbed xD

I noticed that today they got a subbing team and channel manager for the drama on Viki. Now the only thing left is to release the episodes for the subbing team :)
Normally I wouldn't be so interested for this drama since it has low ratings but I like the story. It's good for those who suffer from 2nd male lead syndrome lol xD
I did some research on Google.
Xin Jian (male lead) is basically not the love interest of the Female lead. She used to be in love with someone else and that's something we don't see very often. She even accused Xin Jian (in the trailer) that he separated her from her previous lover. He was obsessively in love with her for more than 2000 years. At some point he kept her imprisoned for 10 years to "protect" her. But she never liked him at all. (I can totally see why lol, he's so possessive ) .
I'm very curious if he'll manage to change and learn to love her in a more caring way , without expecting to control her and if she'll ever have feelings for him.

Hmm after the success of "World of honour" I wouldn't be surprised if they cast him .
I'm not into BL at all , but I heard the acting of both leads was good.
Normally Mydramalist is accurate with the cast announcements. But we can never be sure. xD

Me too. Because 99% of the time they overdo it with the comedy and the drama becomes awful. This has an interesting plot. It would be so nice if it wasn't comedy. I'll watch it but still it could have been better xD

Why comedy?!
It could have a more serious tone like Eternal love , ashes of love, Love and Redemption, Love and destiny etc.
The plot sounds intriguing. I hope this won't be one of those silly dramas were the Female lead acts like a 5 year old kid , screams and yells 99% of the time. I'll keep an eye on it and I hope that the comedy will be balanced and not cringe !

No no ....all I could see was a hot couple with a great chemistry. YongGeon❤Lives 4ever in my soul. Problem is I have to find an other couple in a drama to replace them. That'll be hard :(
It's tough to find a good serious drama with interesting romance and intriguing plot. I don't like fluffy rom-comedies at all. It's always hard for me to find good couples in interesting dramas .

If I could write the script (LOL I'm not a screen writer but at least I can say my opinion )....
I would make GG truly fall for MY and I would made them help Pyeongang and On Dal and live all happily in Gagouryeo. I would made YongGeon an good side couple that would support the main couple and never betray them . Also I would definitely made GG proclaim his love for MY on every episode and I would increase their scenes together.
I will always remember this drama. They made me care so much for YongGeon the last 2 months. I've never commented on MyDramaList sooooo much. I've become obsessed for them . They could be the hottest couple! Such a lost potential damnnn. They were the hottest couple ahhh. My heart pains me :"(

Go Geon saved Pyeonggang and until his last breath he was persistent with his love for her.
When he was dying in Mo Yong's arms he told her that he was seeing himself in her ( because both chased a love that they couldn't have).
That meant he didn't love her.

Then she said "Have you ever loved me ?"
And he said "Yes I loved you"
and she cried and responded "that was a lie" .
Then he passed away and she cried even more.
Sad scene. I belive he said "I loved you" to her only to cheer her up. Because the previous dialogue and his actions proved the opposite.
BUT I'm glad that from being evil they became good again. Especially Mo Yong. She's become so selfless now. She wasn't jealous of Pyeonggang. She helped her to help Go Geon. That was a good move from the writers ! Thanks writing team ❤

No it's not sailing. He said to Mo Yong "I loved you" but that was a huge obvious lie. He just told her to continue her life and move on before he die .
Mo Yong became an independent woman after his death. She managed to survive and bought a shop so she can start business again. When Pyeonggang meets her at some time in the future she calls her again "friend". Awwwwww cute sisterhood!!!!
Bye bye Go Geon. You were too stubborn to stay alive with your Mo Yong-ah. She will be better without you. I'm glad she didn't die for him.

Mo Yong and Go Geon rescue Pyeonggang from the Silla army and she thanked them both. She even called Mo Yong her friend ?!

That dialogue was in the preview trailer of ep20 and it was shown at the end of the episode. I don't if he'll die for sure but probably he will. Lol.
After all he's the bad guy.
Mo Yong-ah follows him no matter how stubborn, self destructive and suicidal he is. She even said to him "You can do whatever you want with me". That's a very toxic kind of "love". Anyways they are the 2nd evil couple. I shouldn't expect a healthy relationship xD
I knew I was in the wrong ship from the beginning.
I'm just glad that in his last moments after burning all Gagouryeo, betraying everyone and following Pyeonggang obsessively, he managed to say some nice words to Mo Yong. Finally, even if those words are an other lie , he gave her some compensation AT LEAST !!
Nice job GG. You spent your last breath wisely haha. Now I don't regret watching the drama. In my mind they'll be together 4ever. Their acting was on point. Great chemistry.
Now the last good thing would be On Dal and Pyeonggang to survive from the war with Silla and return safely. In the Folktale On Dal died. Let's see... fingers crossed

No nothing happened with this drama. All good.
There is a rumor that 11 Korean dramas got cancelled but the truth is ,only 2 got cancelled. The rest is lies.
International audience is a little angry because recently the drama "Joseon Exorcist" got cancelled. It had too many chinese items on the background and made Koreans feel awkward. They felt as if China was trying to influence their culture again , as it did thousand of years ago. Also the company that created "Joseon Exorcist " was receiving money from a Chinese company and that made koreans even more angry. If you ask me ....I was sad that this drama got cancelled but I belive that Koreans have every right to "defend" their culture if they think it's threatened.
An other drama that had issues was "Oh my ladylord" because it showed the male lead's half naked a$$ in a bathroom hahaa. There are good reasons behind the cancellations. It's not that every drama has problems. xD
As for the actor's replacement in "River where the moon rises " it happened because he was accused of extreme bullying by many people.

Hi hi ! I'm ready for whatever bullshjt happens in ep19-20. I wish that GG would protect MY even the very last moment. That would given her some happiness at least , after all this sadness. But I guess she's just gonna die saving him and that's it lol. End of story. He's so self destructive at this point that he won't even notice her missing haha. Thanks drama xD
I wanna go back to ep12-17 where they were kissing non stop and GG was calling her "my love " or "she's my lover" , "you're the woman closest to me" etc.

Mainly because I "like" more the romance between a person with a disability and a healthy person. The way I see it , you have to be really in love with someone to overlook his/her disability. The bond between the couple must be strong in order to overcome this challenging situation.
