I was so anrgy at the SH and Hwang that I thought I would pause watching this show. In the end I decided to skip 50 and that's seems to be the right decision.

I am so looking forward Serin's engagement party. I expect the sh*t to start hitting the fan.

Xuanji always gets alot of criticism because people say that Sifeng suffered alot because of her but really Sifeng suffered alot because of his own choices. A perfect example for is how Sifeng was the one to teach her about different emotions using the different foods but then its like he forgot that she has doesn't have a high EQ. Like that time when the curse got triggered for the first time, that was all his fault because he didn't talk to her about it and instead chose to let a misunderstanding dictate what she feels for him.
He hinted at how he felt but Xuanji doesn't understand such things so he should have taken the step to communicate with her.
I personally think that a lot of the suffering that Sifeng went through was because he has martry syndrome and was willing to do it like that as opposed to the more reasonable route of having a discussion with his partner.
Neither of them is perfect but that's what makes it work. I have never once found Xuanji's actions unreasonable or out of character. She's the only one in from the righteous sect who has always seen the grey and not just the black and white. She never believed anything that anyone said about Sifeng until he broke faith with her no matter what her friends and family said she always believed Sifeng.
She may have listened to Hao Chen, he is her senior and she is a good girl and does what she is supposed to - but she never believed him - if she trusted him as much as she innately trusted Sifeng, Hao Chen wouldn't have needed to fake getting stabbed by Sifeng infront of her to get her to do what he wanted. I always wonder if I am the only one who picked up on those details because people give her a lot of crap.
Like seriously, Hao Chen sealed Ding Kun and all it took was for Sifeng to get hurt for her to over power that seal.

Anyway, I will end this with Sifeng may have an extraordinary love for her but her love for him is not any less.

There are 2 versions of the drama, the tv version is 46 episodes while the dvd version is 44. They are exactly the same, its just that the tv version episodes are usually shorter to make time for commercials.

You should check out The Centimeter of Love (https://mydramalist.com/53739-the-centimeter-of-love)- I loved both the ML and the FL because of how they coped with their lives but there families were soooooooo toxic. ML has a tiger mom and FL's father is a real piece of work.

I haven't watched any of these dramas yet but I will file them for when the mood is right.

I have NEVER understood why these stupid fictional characters never call the police. Somebody kidnaps your son to blackmail you and go along with that shit. That's justifiable grounds for sole custody. I am so mad that I'll take a break and come back to this when more episodes have aired. I know that makjang has got to makjang but come on, this woman has already proven that she doesn't care about that child's wellbeing and that's the person you allow to dictate how you live your life. What if something happens to the boy while he is kidnapped.

The female is such a dork but in the cutest way possible, the number of times she has embarrassed herself in front of the ML is just killing me. I think the one from the preview of ep 30 is probably the worst so far.

Ok, nope. Dropping this. How is it episode 6 and the ML is still manipulating the FL to stay with him. Never mind that her father and sister also manipulated her for their own selfish needs. At this point the show is going to have no redeemable characters.

They go on to have one of the cutest, healthiest partnerships in dramaland. The beginning is slow and tedious because they are both not perfect. The general gives her man the self confidence he needs to go on to achieve great things and he gives her the emotional support that she has been lacking in her life since she has been on the battle field avenging her parents and fighting for her country. He is smart while she is strong and together they are unstoppable.

Ok, what's will all the pink clothing? Did they get a discount or something? The school uniforms were pink and now the new shop uniforms are also pink. Its not even a different shade of pink!

Did anyone else notice that the scene from the trailer was cut, the one where they are fighting and they get reprimanded by the emperor, it was cut in ep 19.

You know, something I noticed in this drama is that all the families have more realistic family dynamics. A prefect example is the 'mean' mother of the fl's family. She went into a burning building to save the FL, especially when she didn't have to. It shows that while there are petty squabbles because people live together, at the end of the day, they are still family.

The "groom" tried to rape her at a temple, raping someone is not ok but at a temple of all places. She was very resourceful in how she handled it because obviously he is not the type to take no for an answer.

lol, several months after watching you throw shade at The King (yada, yada ).... I see the shade throwing spirit is still alive and well.

There really isn't another FL like her. The only one who comes close is Minglan from story of Minglan but she has her own charm.
