Just watched ep 15-16, wow! So much is packed in ep 15. Yeah Daddi Tang makes his appearance in ep 15. I wonder…
I am also curios about what shenanigans she was referred but I don't think that it was poisoning the first wife. NVM, I just further rethought it and considering how favoured she is by the MIL she would be visiting often. While I don't think the MIL was part of the scheme to get rid of the first wife (she doesn't strike me as evil she just indulges Qiao who is evil). It wouldn't take alot for one of those visits to get a person in the household that she could influence to do the poisoning.
ratings gonna drop after 20-28arc hmm what a wasted opportunity some drama have great start but they fail flat…
Am thinking that the bandit's sponsor is the major villian in the palace. There is no better way to stop an army from going to war in another country than if there is insecurity in your backyard. I see that, but I still think this arc is boring.
I know, I just wanted to rub it in a little more. I don't like that I want bad people to suffer when they do bad things but I do- Its kind of gratifying to see these fictional characters get their richly deserved comeuppance but I know it not a good trait.
has seen Wallace in other dramas where he's much more expressive than here. Besides period look not befitting…
He never smiles at home. He only has light moments when he is teasing his deputy general or that errand boy of his. It kind of seems like he carries the weight of his family and the people on his shoulders and the people at home don't relieve his stress instead they add to it.
I am not really buying He Hong Shan's acting as the evil concubine Qian. Something feels off about her portrayal. She keeps giving me the impression that she is a child throwing a tantrum because she has not got the toy that she want but now she is getting more dangerous because she has been left unchecked.
It must have been hard for his first wife to stay neutral considering how many vipers are at the manor.
I don't think she did stay neutral - the scheme to bring Qian in as a concubine was too well executed for me to believe she stayed neutral. Besides with a mother like that, no way she doesn't know the tricks. And having seen how Qian behaves I believe that the first wife was warranted in her concern especially in not trusting that her husband would be able to hold off their schemes and protect her son. In the earlier episodes I wasn't a massive fan of that scheme but then I was left asking myself what would I do in her situation if I knew I only had limited time.
I hope she is not the only villain. She is so stupid she is boring me. I want to know who the murderer and main…
she is a baby, playing around in the games of adults. She is only getting as far as she has because both ML and FL are taking the path of least resistance with her for now especially because ML's mother favours her. But I think if she continues like she has been they will pay attention to her and she won't like it.

Ahh, only time will tell
