OMG, yes!!! While she is protective of Houchi she doesn't over do it and she is very respectful to her as well. I really like the balance that they have. Houchi defers to her on somethings and vise versa. Its such a balanced relationship and I love it. Yue Mi and Tang Qi were also good to Shang Gu but they over indulged her. You will notice that while both Houchi and Shang Gu have very low spiritual power from birth Shang gu was very spoilt while Houchi isn't.

Yes they were. I watched the episode on wetv immediately after it got uploaded and I noticed the same issue. It seems like they have fixed after though since some people didn't notice it.

I meant that considering the hate the show has been getting they may have held off on releasing those extra episodes so to build anticipation, which translates into more people buying those extra episodes when they do get released. This is only a guess so it could be way off.

I would say now its shaping up to be on par with both of them- we'll see how the rest of the show goes but right now its a strong contender. Definitely my fave Xianxia of the year so far.
