why it's popularity is not so good according to expectation. Its casts , story, CGI effect, prodution is so high…
Personally I gave it an 8- I don't think it is just the subtitles are the problem. Is it a good drama, yes but its not mind blowing for me. I expected a lot more based on the hype and the actors.
Drama-not so much BUT I was never expecting it to be a lot in a Japan version. I find them all to be more private and kept personal things to themselves. This was clearly filmed during covid, and I do wonder if that impacted couple growth. I do wish there was something from "marriage at first sight"- if they spoke with someone more knowledgeable would couple have made it? I think outside of the pods a few of them suffered just from interacting/ living with a new person and how to show who you are to another in a short amount of time. Sometimes a couple would be having a huge huge problem but we would not know about until the break up. they try so hard to make couple look like they are ok when they are not. I was really interested in the Wholesome moments- during break up or if someone was having a hard time: the couples tried really hard to make sure no one looked like a mess.
Little update: Motomi announced on her IG that she and Ryotaro just completed and had their marriage licenses…
thx for the update! I felt like the show was holding them back as they said they could not apply until after the show aired. Now it had me wondering if it was not as much of a big deal-in the usa they are married at the end and here they had a year after to still think about it.
I like the idea but I feel like they missed used the time and the set. I kept on going "Wow what a great place, so romantic/ friendship spots" but then the participants would be upset about the food or getting water. I feel like we never got to see honest conversations- they would show a clip or make a comment that made me go "oh they are not showing us everything that is going on". I wish that were was more activity's to bring people together with new experiences- I felt like no one was connecting really. I had a hard time caring about them as we don't learn a much about them. I liked the hosts, it was like I was watching with other people but I feel like they had more screen time than some of the participants.
TBH- this for me was just a job for them, no one was looking for love. I felt like most of them are there to boost their jobs. I also think it was heavily produced to try to force conflict for entertainment. I spent most of the time wondering why Jia packed so many handbags and what use did she expect on the beach? I'm sure it was some kind of IG deal. xD
It is very sad and depressing and more so in part 2. I understand what you mean by it is missing something. For…
Nope they do less ^.^ I don't think you understand my point of there being multi mains and not just the main couple. The plot is very different here than other dramas that only use the main couple to fix everything. Here many people are needed to push the goal a long. Thus leading me to be less interested than normal.

That's my point- they are not the main focus- FL not even trying to solve the problem of the frost.. thats her clan! Both of them don't really care about the demon and what to do about that issue. Normally the leads have to do all the work to fix everything. I felt as time went on the main couple was used to just keep people watching and I think they have less and less time(unless needed for fighting) as the plot moves a long.
I was expecting this drama to be exciting but I’m finding it very depressing. The acting is quite good and it…
It is very sad and depressing and more so in part 2. I understand what you mean by it is missing something. For me the issue is the main couple is not the focus but instead is a main lead cast- they say they are support but for me they are just as important to the plot which leads my feelings being muddy as there is a lot going on to distract from the excitement.
There's a lot to like about this drama and equally to hate lol Anyone else feel sad and depressed by part 2? I also really enjoyed the evil queen fairy vibe. She really got a great part, best outfit, and most character development out of all of them. I lost count of the number of times I cried this season but I want to say at lest 6. I do like the ending- I do understand them; all the main leads and subs have an ending which is nice. I'd recommend this to people that do not mind if the main couple is not the main focus of the show. Now I say this because they are NOT going out, working and solving every problem like other dramas. The other roles are just as important to solve the main issue- sometimes the main couple do not even know something is going on. There is a ton more sad moments than happy for sure!
Both part connected? Is it ok skip part 2 after watching party?
Yes there is a double triangle- mostly one sided love. The chemistry is stronger in 2 but as far as romance-its more like deep looking into the eyes and misunderstanding in their way with a ton of sadness and depression! xD
I'm trying to decide how I FEEL about this- on one hand the start was great, actors are doing great, set and outfits…
ML: fact that none of his clan is looking for him and no time is given to his family. I wish there was more about his dad or something- CGI of his body was super weird, yes I understand that a tail is needed but they did his whole upper body too. FL- I wish she had her short hair longer. She plots so much its hard to see her true feelings sometimes. We never learn her backstory: She was brought to the flower valley but we don't know anything about her family. -Weird fairy dance; idk I found it to be really creepy. But they do a great job of making her look like a fairy. -I hope we see more of the blue butterfly and wine guy -I wish we could see more of the bobcat clan: those guys that come see him are fun. - I enjoy the twist to the freeze issue ~Just some random thoughts I have.
I'm trying to decide how I FEEL about this- on one hand the start was great, actors are doing great, set and outfits are great.... BUT I hate how there is soooo many sub plots. There is a ton of characters introduced and I get interested in them but for me they are around to distract from the main plot. I really feel like the Leads have less and less time. With a part 2 I can't really say if its worth to watch or not.
I made it pasted 2! BUT for me there is so little interaction between the leads that I don't even know them. I don't know any of the people enough to be attached to their plot. In an hour and a half I expect something more than her trying to "thank him" but get it wrong. IDK- let me know if this is worth it to re-start lol I just think there are better things to watch.
