You know there are those common villain faces you see in many dramas and when you see them here playing humble you just doubt it. I’m just in episode 1 and I’m endlessly suspicious of Kim Tae Ho. I hope he is as humble as he looks

Just concluded this and it’s a pretty decent drama. Loved it

I’ve understood that point. I used mostly because in the Asian culture what highly keeps celebrities on board is fans. It’s not entirely fans but mostly its fans. You can tell how asian celebrities are sometimes accountable to their fans for instance if they are dating or have done something they have to think of what are the thoughts of theirs fans etc. This is what I literally meant. Though I understood what you are saying. I too listen to lots of Kpop without wanting to know the background of the singer. Also BTS the energy of their fans is one of the reasons that people are drawn to them. But it’s an observation I made that many asian celebrities especially young celebrities survive partly because of their fans.

No one is being defensive . You are judging him being loved from one criteria and that is acting. Imagine if I said why is mother teresa loved while she was not beautiful or she was just an old nun?. It’s simple; people have various things they can be loved for and that is what I’m trying to stress here. I would also be defensive if someone questioned why Zhang Ruo Yun is loved when he ain’t that handsome as some other actors. . Okay let me speak my opinion. I never liked him entirely for his acting. It is his personality as a celebrity. It is him being a human with faults but still accepting those faults and wishing to be a better example as a public figure. Instead of concentrating on why he is loved from acting then go watch his interviews, go listen to the feedbacks of his senior actors and directors including the director and screen writer of joy of life, Zhang Ruo Yun, Hu Ge etc.. Go search on the feedbacks of why many brands opt to cooperate with him apart from his popularity. Go search for the energy he puts behind characters. He might not deliver 100% but the efforts he tries to bring the character to life. He never went to acting school unlike many of the actors but he is trying his best and it’s one of the reasons people like him. Of course there are many kind people out there who are humble and whatsoever but we can’t love all of them utmost we appreciate them. The difference between those and Xiao Zhan it’s that he is in the spot light and so its unavoidable he draws mega lots of attention. Anyways I rest my case and I apologize if I seemed defensive.

Can someone please spoil me about the second couple. I’m drawn towards their relationship but it seems as if their relationship is on replay as long as the time travel happens. They keep on meeting flirt a little then meet again flirt then it goes on on in circles do they have some progress?

It’s human instinct to love and protect what you love. There is nothing wrong with protecting him. If they don’t protect him then he’ll be tarnished with no boundary and disappear. He is protected because he deserves it. I’m sure you too have someone you protect no matter what. None of his fans are defending his acting is the best in the world. He is doing his best and you don’t have to demean his efforts. Look at how the fans of BTS protect their idols. Just like how you like Mark Chao and you find his acting remarkable then there are better actors than Mark Chao for instance Zhang Ruo Yun, Hu Ge etc. I too think Cheng Yi is a good actor and I’ve enjoyed a lot of his works and so have I watched many of Allen Ren’s works but I don’t go around questioning why people still love Allen Ren while he doesn’t do kiss scenes. I’m surprised that you’ve just watched a single Xiao Zhan drama and you question why he’s loved? It’s weird. If you don’t like him then keep it to your heart and just don’t follow him don’t waste time to understand why he is loved. I too don’t like many actors and find their acting below standard but I just don’t follow them or drop their dramas and shut my mouth. Then if you are not one to be a fan of anybody then it’s kinda offensive to question the people who are categorized as fans. The reason why all these celebrities are on TV it’s mostly because they have fans. Imagine if people never watched Mark Chao’s works then you’d never discover him. I wonder if you’ll have the same opinion for crazy die hard fans of Mark Chao.
About whether the Untamed or Word of Honor is better than the other I can’t say. I read both BL novels and watched both shows and both shows have their own points to be loved but in terms of popularity The untamed has more than ten billion views while word of honor has less than 3billion. The untamed novel is more famous and known than the one of word of honor. By the way if you want better answers about why people love the untamed then go to the untamed page or take your time and read the novel and see how complex the character Wei WuXian was and how Xiao Zhan brought it to life. If you are not satisfied with his acting please let it loose in the untamed drama page. If you come to this page just because of a single untamed then you are looking to quarrel with peaceful fans who only discuss positive stuffs. You asked why he is loved and we replied but it seems you ain’t convinced and want to hold something on him. You are on the wrong page then.

God knows how I hated his character in Royal Nirvana and now I’m deadly liking his character in my deepest dream. Very good acting. Indeed a very versatile actor and he should indeed play in some serious action packed drama. He has the vibes

I think putting his acting aside I think many people love him for his personality. Also what made him popular in the untamed is that he lived up to the character. The untamed is from a very very popular danmei novel and he brought life to the character that many people loved. If you’ve read the novel then you’ll understand why people love him. As for me I’m a fan because of his personality. I watched him in the untamed but didn’t become a fan until sometime later after coming across his news and reviews on his journey as an actor and singer. It’s inspiring. So people are crazy about him for a million reasons and acting is just one among them. There are indeed better actors than him out there and he himself accepts and acknowledges that there are better actors than him; but what makes him admirable is that he is willing to learn and be critiqued. You should read about what he did in order to get into the role of Gu YiYe in Ace Troops. You should listen to the feedbacks of various senior actors and directors he’s worked with and you’ll understand why he is loved; zVery positive feedback and mostly on his personality and passion to learn from people around him. Even the brands he represents have similar feedbacks on his personality and some brands like Zenith admitted to picking him because of his personality and journey as an actor and singer. he also thinks his handsomeness is average. Despite better people than him existing out there; there is a reason why people love him and are crazy for him and I can assure you its highly attributed to his down to earth humble personality.

I normally avoid mystery dramas since my brain normally hurts from guessing and guessing; however this is so good. I’m loving it and the little stubble beard of Jin Han is fabulous. It adds flavor to his face.

High jump, long jumps and pole vault jumps have been games I enjoy watching a lot so I’m excited for this drama. On top of that it’s WAY’s drama

I didn’t even get time to be excited before Tencent did their thing again😏😏😏. They best know how to postpone most awaited dramas and to shelf most awaited dramas.

Now I can say why I like this drama. It’s the fact that when she confessed he clearly told her why he is hesitating to be with her. I was hoping it doesn’t turn out like other common drama troupes where he just begins ignoring and avoiding the FL with assumptions that he is doing it for the better of the FL. I’ll give it a 10 just for this.

Why does she have so many upcoming dramas but nothing is airing? I really really miss her
