As for me I'm quite satisfied with the cast. Tan Jian Ci really accurates look like a strong yet vulnerable Yifu while CZY humbly looks like an innocent yet strong CG. Moreover there is Song ji yang. Whoever made him play Cao Chunhua did a great job

I want to curse the devils who were killing my trust in Our Zhang Ling He by whispering for me to drop this drama. I even dared put it on hold. I need slaps. This drama is very dope. At first I didn't get the concept and almost dropped it but when I got an idea it became a one day binge watch. Indeed Zhang Ling He never fails to impress me. Beautiful drama. Kudos to the whole crew and cast. Beautiful job. It deserves more attention than ever

I guess no character can be played perfectly because in the first place we humans ourselves ain't perfect. Definitely no actor will portray Xie Lian perfectly but I can't say that now about Zhai Xiao wen until I see him play the part.

He doesn't shout XL but from his acting so far I think he'll be able to pull it off. He has this innocent dazed look and I guess he'll do good. Just have some hope in him.

I don't need to add anything more. I've been arguing on this comment section until my ink is almost done. You've said it very well. My initial pick was Song ji yang, Ding Cheng Xin or Xu kai for the main characters. Zhai Xiao Wen for now might not shout Xie Lian but I'm pretty sure he will pull it off with more guidance and the make up. The directors knew why they picked him. There must've been something more appealing about him as XL than others that we don't know of.

Also as for Zhang ling He he really is the best pick of Hua Cheng. The novel just described how Hua Cheng looked like and left us to imagine how stunning he is. However ZLH really screams HC. People should go watch the guy act and stop judging him. He was tailored for the role HC. He is tall, handsome with sharp features and his voice OMG what else do people want?

Anyways I'm not surprised if people complain because I was surprised to see people in YT under TGCF/HOBs donghua comment that the anime character of Hua Cheng wasn't good looking, appealing, sexy and hot as they had imagined. If people can complain about a cartoon I ain't shocked to see them complain about a human moreover our Ling He.

I guess averagely its 4-5 months. Since XZ's drama 'the longest promise' started filming in March and it will be done by the beginning of July anx it has 50 episodes. We will just have to wait and see. I believe he knows what he's doing and maybe HOBs might even start filming by the end of the year.

Thats my point. Unless he's a superman who can run from one set to another. Since rumours are that the crew is setting the filming site for HOBs maybe he'll be done by then.

Dissatisfaction is always there but people should learn how to give actors a chance. I am watching ZXW in Falling into your smile and he really is doing a good job definitely he just needs a little guidance on how to handle XLs character and I guess he'll execute it well. As for Zhang Ling He he is the best pick for Hua Cheng as a new face to many. His acting is very much on point and people shouldn't say he has no experience when the guy is doing a great job in his dramas. Watch him then judge him. People are complaining because the actors they chose weren't picked but they are forgetting other people wouldn't like those actors also. While others wanted Lu han someone people wanted Neo Hou some of us wanted Ding Cheng Xin...others Song ji yang etc. Still dissatisfaction would be there and some people would still say the same words.

I'm glad the crew picked new faces completely for this drama. People are judging even before watching. People should learn to give them first a chance then judge later on. Many will eat their words in the future. The directors weren't sleeping when choosing the cast. They watched one to the last actor audition and it ended with ZXW as Xie Lian. I don't know well the actor but as for me I have no low expectation for this drama. It's one of my best novels with a good donghua why should I have low expectations because of the cast? Hell nooo..I'm full charged with expectations for it since I know, no one made a wrong choice here and with the on-going critics I believe the actors will now challenge their limits to prove people wrong.

I'm normally not a shipper but from today I cheer for LingXiao as HUALIAN.

I haven't laughed in a long time like the way I laughed in Ye Hao Ran's wedding night scene. Dude sounded like a chicken screaming. OMG this drama is just full of comedy. I kept on watching it not because the story is that good but because the comedy is on point. Really laughed a lot. Thx to the actors and whole crew for the entertainment

This drama deserves all the love. Our Ling He deserves the love. The cast, the crew did a great job executing this drama. Beautiful story with a nice pace. there ain't too much of stuffs going on just some good friendship. Very goood
