He came to realize that his mother is a barabarian princess, his adoptive father is a well respected General of whom he admired alot, his teacher is the deputy general to his adoptive father and utmost he himself ain't some village boy but apparently the countries lost prince.

I haven't read HYX so I can't say I'm anticipating for it however I feel it needs to air for other BLs to air. For SPL I read it and I'm really anticipating for it. It's so far the only already filmed BL that I'm really looking forward too. TGCF is my sacred best novel so I really wish for it to air as early as possible but if you get to read weibo comments on how they are laughing at it 'that it just began airing and the BL world collapsed' is so heartbreaking. I really wish everythng goes well for it. I fear for it suffering in post-production.

We first have to pray HYX and SPL to air in those two years. Minimum years I give to TGCF to air is 3 years this is only if IQIYI doesn't love to make their dramas eat dust in the shelves like Tencent. The Bl world in China is really being pinned just a few weeks ago a BL Donghua stopped airing half way so that it can be re-reviewed for censorship. My hopes for these danmeis to air keep on falling every night. I won't even be shocked to wwatch TGCF in 2030😣

All dramas that I've ever loved he has a OST in it and whenever I learn that he's sung an ost for a drama then I don't waste time and watch that drama. I have a whole playlist of his songs. One of my favorite chinese singers. He has a phenomenal sweet voice.

I hope Chong Zi is done filming so that I can get to hear about his future projects.

It doesn't even have a network that will produce the drama in the first place. I think it will take ages to start filming this given the fact that it's donghua that was just airing has been put on a hiatus/ pause and is undergoing review once more again. So you can tell how long this will take for it to even get a cast and also because of the new policies which some affect the BL dramas. We might not get to see this anytime soon.

Actually the movement doesn't target only Bl but also BG. It's just that the BL genre will be affected in one way or the other since in the first place they don't air much as BG. However I know from now ownwards there will be no more CP promotions for both BG n BL dramas. You act and don't promote it in anyway or how. That thing of shooting to fame over night will likely not be there.

The problem is with the fandom wars that emerge after these actors become famous. Most fans don't stop at the drama and go on forward with reflecting it in the personal lives of these celebrities brewing chaos after chaos. So China has set up policies on no more CP promotions etc. if fans, agencues and production companies in China behave we might get to see these air

This won't air anytime soon. In weibo the metawin data index changed for most anticipated drama to hopeless to air. The list includes Immortality, chasing the light, league of noblemen, winner is King, TGCF and silent reading. The BL genre is receiving a temporary ban and there are mixed reviews about it. Some people's comments were happy about the BL genre being banned while others were sad about but most comments I read they called the genre Cancerous in promoting toxic culture. Other comments were laughing at TGCF saying it just started filming and the BL world collapsed. The beginning of next year China is hosting winter olympics so expectations for this drama keeps on getting pushed behind.
I'm saddened by this. The more I go through weibo the more I think the earliest Immortality will air is 2023 hope not because it will make WIK get pushed further behind. But just like GuYun I think I've become less hopeful

I've come to express how much I've come to like him. Truly impressed by his acting. In all the dramas he was in I just kept on waiting for him to appear. Great. Can't wait for his future dramas inckuding TGCF.

Exceptionally good. Although the slow burn romance is really as slow as stated but I absolute love this novel

From episode 1 I knew this was going to be a jolly ride for me however episode 6 just cemented my love for this drama. Liu YuCheng's failure to read in between lines and Jing chiu's uneasiness is just everything.
