im on ep 5 and that pregnant girl might be the most irrelevant character ive seen in a drama after the 2nd ML…
The pregnant girl doesn't have a lot of screentime. She's used to show the will of a mother when she ties herself because she know she will soon be a zombi. So she does that to save her baby. This scene was really good. Then the baby is used as a burden when some other characters have to save the baby.
Easely better than US show like "the walking dead" but we can't compare as TWD was one of the first. Just an example, TWD season 2 was a slug, with nothing happen and the major twist was to know the person in the wood was dead.
All of Us Are Dead is fast paced and because it's a zombi drama coming late, has to find some fresh ideas. It's a must watch for any people liking zombi stories. I rec this drama!!! The writing is good, many obstacles, plot-points melding and coming to produce twists, like the writer got some magic in hand.
There are a few flaws I noticed, but not much on a whole drama: - 2 guys talking about the girl while they are in a dangerous situation (not credible). - A jump looking too acrobatic to be real. - A few too long and boring scenes. There aren't a lot because there are multiple characters in different places, but still a problem. Now, if we compare that to TWD where entire episodes were like that, AOUAD is really better. - A kind of pop-rock music on a chase scene, making that...mmmh, comedy? Too much out of tone.
Overthetop, noisy, clownish, cringe, goofy, slapstick. Ignores the laws of gravity and thermodynamics. Nam Soon is 22 but main actress looks 40 without sleeping.
Korean viewers actually liked the beginning too so it was successful overall. The writer said it was a risky decision…
I really liked the risky decision. Original, and from ep8, the background stories were nice. Just...... I don't understand the 6 first episodes. Why the writer made that so boring?!! When you watch "from now on, showtime!", the writer made the same kind of risky move, half the drama you get 2 episodes flashback in pre-Joseon history. It was never made before. But damn-it, the drama was crazy good before that.
Ultra slow-pace, ultra repeatitive, ultra boring, ultra no-plot. Slow-motion everywhere + same slow-motion scenes in countless flashback. This drama is a miracle and solved my insomnia. Can save you from any problem related to difficulty to fall asleep. Should be an official prescription from medical field.
Dropped it pretty much for the same reasons... 900 yo man (never minding that he's looking 40) falling in love…
If you watch better, you find out the high school girl has much more maturity than the 900yo dude. Yeah.... I suppose it's what is funny in that. +I dropped that ep6. Boring drama ever. No plot, repeatitive lines, nothing happens.
Am I the only one who preferred the parents' backstories? Episodes 1-7 really bored me to tears (except for the…
These episodes are better than any pill for sleeping. They could even be used to put James Bond in a coma instead of various drugs often used for that.
old men control most decisions made in American entertainment. and shows are written by writers rooms which consist…
No, american writers room aren't mostly men. And I can just confirm to you, men or women do the same bad job in this. But anyway, I agree with you: one kdrama writer do better for various reasons it's too long to summarize.
watched 2 eps and it was so boring. How is this rated so high?
Disney subscribers rationalize what they pay and have to convince themselves what they are watching is awesome and not wasted money for crap or average content.
For an unknow reason unless the most credible: sadism; the writer torture the audience during the 6 first episodes by the most sluggish and boring slowness without plot or real story. Then at episode 8, in a surprising way or rather because it's a challenge to do worst, the background stories are interesting. With occasional painful slow scenes too, but less, or for a reason.

I find that a good note, but in my own scale. What has no meaning here.

Try Shining Inheritance and Dong Yi. ;-)
Early??! She's 29. 😂
You lack common sense.

And pushed my tolerance for slow-paced dramas beyond the limit.
