I don't have time to watch the ton of dramas on my list. So, it make even less time to watch a dropped drama. I don't even have the motivation to watch dramas I just put on-hold.
You are trying too hard to make this a bad drama. You see there's a page called "top shows" dedicated for the highest…
You are becoming dishonest. Don't try to change the subject, by telling inaccuracies about another topic. It makes you make random speculations and logical mistakes. The only FACT to conclude from the ratings on MDL is that the drama is popular here. Nothing else! What interests me is the fact that the drama is poorly written in large parts. That's different!
An example: some girls write fan-fiction about k-pop boy-bands. Even as fan-fiction, some of them are very successful. Thousands of readers. Their story is popular. However, when I read their story, I understand that it is poorly written. - It's probably correct on language and grammar. I'm not native English and it's hard to read, I have no opinion on that. So, I focus on the rest. - The descriptions are heavy, often filled with unnecessary details. Instead of getting to the point, it's drowned out. - The dialogues are dull, aimless, with a lot of useless lines. When it's not the whole scene that is poorly constructed or forgettable. - Each line is punctuated by a description of the character's attitude, which regularly weighs down the scene, instead of giving meaning when it is really needed. It's amazing how many characters "mumble" in fan fiction. - I can't read more than a few pages, it's so annoying. - Every bit of text can be analyzed, so it's a fact!
So the facts: It's popular, BUT, it's poorly written.
This is simply what I do on Hospital Playlist too. By analyzing scenes. And what I don't have time to dissect, I mentally make notes here and there. Details jump to mind.
I don't really like the drama, but I like your enthousiasm ! Ah ah !Good luck with season 2, have fun. ;-)
I'm optimistic about season 2. Maybe the story won't appeal to everyone, given the way the audience is currently anticipating. But about writing, it should be more successful. The drama was improving as season 1 went on, and season 2 should continue to do so.
That's how reverse harem dramas like hospital playlist work, where the female character is the most IMPORTANT of all! But I guess with totalitarians like pixar supervisor, writers are not allowed to create anything but woke propaganda. With such people, no Asian drama could still exist. Just close MDL.
Man, there are so many people here who are so excited for it based on the 1st season... I see that you rated it…
I'm sorry, but even if wanted to, I couldn't ruin it by myself, I don't have superpowers. Just remember dramas like Start-Up or Love Alarm, and expect something of this kind.
I share the same feelings with this YouTuber but after watching season 1 and 2, I sat down and thought how could…
It's the magic of writer Kim Soon Ok. She write parody and crazy dark comedy but... ... she still make a strong story, so you end to take this seriously and be involved. Then, of course, you can't sleep in your bed. ^^ Crazy talentuous screenwriter. Tell me where I can send her a love letter. ;-)
I know how it will turn. But if I say it, people will be disappointed. It's a spoiler ! Just watch the drama and be disappointed by yourself, or because the writer. :-) Everybody know the proverb : Kill the messenger ! So, I say nothing more. ^^
Moving away from the controversy created by the character of Alex, I think that people who are going to continue…
Hey hey, I feel like you found a good hole about this transplant. I wonder if the writer will give a quick errata, anything. Like "the brother had run away from home at that time and could not be contacted". ;-)
That's what Im killing myself saying since the writer's previous drama. ^^However, the video forgets to talk about…
It's ok, do it, I'm not on youtube. It's related about plots building, yes. Check the most complicate plot-driven stories. We get something like that in Penthouse, 36x cliffhangers per episodes. Easy to choose one at the end of the episode, but still, she's able to get the best one, almost each times, without slowing down the story. It's difficult because, let's say, you set the cliffhanger but you don't have enough content, so you put fillers. But here there is no fillers nor slow down. The story building is somewhat labyrinthic from the writer point of view. Of course, we spectators don't bother with that, and we just get the result where all flow naturally at fast pace. But behind, the writer need to have good ideas everywhere. Almost no scene is boring in the drama, so the writer prepared that with a lot of ideas, and all this need to be coherent about the storytelling (what is different from the coherence of the realism).
Lol, this girl articulately explains how I exactly feel about this drama. It's nonsensical and bad, but that is…
That's what Im killing myself saying since the writer's previous drama. ^^ However, the video forgets to talk about one thing. Despite the absurdity of many elements, the storyline is hard to write. A lot of plot-twists are intertwined, the pace is fast. And you can see that the writer has built the structure of the script before. Not within the reach of the first writer. This is the consecration of her career, after having written a lot of more classical makjang (but also full of dark-comedy and irony), each reaching 50h or 60h of content.
Yeah, I found it terribly boring too. I didn't really find the characters interesting at all.
I still think the design of the characters is good. Especially Jang "maggoty". But what the drama does with them is slow and painful. It's a bit of a caricature of character-driven story not managing to exploit its content and find captivating situations. Regularly, I lose attention during some dialogues, my mind goes elsewhere.
You don't get the romance of the drama. Don't you ? Script is a mess ? And even the direction ? I Don't know what…
Romance? Probably a trap. Jang is a secondary character. The direction is clean, but almost always the same shots. Quite static, boring. The script has problems yes. Overused and unappealing dialogue. Scenes too long. Lack of visuals. Characters who tell. Even in a slice of life, it doesn't work. It gets better towards the last episodes, but we still encounter typos. The drama drags itself like a ball and chain.
So, it make even less time to watch a dropped drama.

No speech everywhere, only on these few comments.
