As a follower of the show since beginning, I still like this season, but it's less good than before. Erosion of time. It's good it's the last one, because there is some repetitions. JDT character is not as good as before for example, and have lines too shorts or just looking like "big bad" ones. However, in episode 5, he get a good scene, when he imitates the news reporter. His others lines are better too. I feel like it's even more fast paced than before, rushed. But if we look more, episode 3, 4, 5 are in the same time, almost. Whole episode 4 was a flashback. And in episode 5, we also get flashback leading to the end of episode 4 cliffhanger. Weird ! It's the first time I see the writer doing something like that, on this scale. But it's successfull, there is no boring time. Of course, because we can see what do others characters. Too much characters ! Season 1 was more stable about that. But just add 1 to 3 more characters, and it become difficult to track all people for the writer. We loose focus on some importants characters, with rushed apparitions. It's not the same taste than Seo-Jin playing piano after her father' death, or Yoon-Hee betraying and have a kiss with JDT.
Also, the argument of "write your own screenplay" is just so bad... People want to say what they like and what…
As I'm agree with you, the audience is the final target, and should be able to say : I like, or "it's deadly boring". Even if we don't know why. But it's better to know why. But with HP, we know why it's so boring and badly done.
If you write screenplay or read on this subject on forums, books, articles... You will just see how Hospital Playlist screenplay is so bad. Ah ah ! So this argument from drama fans fall in the water. The screenwriter is incompetent beyond anything we saw on screen. I'm not joking and watched season 1 with great interest. I was taking notes ! Woo ! This, and this ! So badly done ! I take note. Note of everything you should never write in a screenplay. Perfect bad example ! It's pure gold and very helpfull.
It's just crazy, but still, this drama is on air... yeah. Like previous dramas of the writer. It's crazy something so bad is on air, but as it make rating, you can still put it on air, after all. From the producer point of view, it don't matter it's bad, if it make money.
I have made many scenes analys of season 1. Of course I was hated by drama fans. But the truth is the truth and the facts are the facts. Just as an example : Episode 10, 4m30 car scene. Nothing happens, 2 people speaking. Most of the lines dull, 10% only with a interesting meaning. Transition missed. Should be after the ~ 10 line (lines before was useless) because they speak about the guy we saw before. Missed ! Crazy badly done, most of all the episodes like that. People talking about other people, in a restaurant or aroung a table. 50% tables scenes. When a character have to implore the patient to be washed... it should be entertaining, isn't it ? Alas, you will never see the scene. The guy just tell it to another guy. It's like that all the way. Never show anything, just confuse the audience and make us sleepy, endless blah blah blah. HP season 1 was maybe the worst drama I ever watched (hey ! it's a guiness title !). I didn't watched season 2 yet, and probably I'll never do.
damn, I didn't expect Oh Yoon Hee to actually die this time... Cheon Seo Jin and Joo Dan Tae totally deserve each…
It was great !!! But... even after many mourning scenes... I still have a doubt.... We didn't see the flashback when JDT get the body. So... not sure... ;-)
The timeline of the story is getting messy. There is no continuity in the plot. I think this is a very big failure.…
It's cristal clear.. the screenwriter really don't try something complicated like I saw in some dramas. You never miss a step when it's a flashback. There is even a title card : "10 hours ago". Damn, if people don't understand with that, I don't know what kind of series they need.......
