Hello crazy people! (of which I am one). I don't need to summarize how great I think this drama is, like most of you, and even more than most of you.
But I managed to find one FLAW, only one: LOGAN LEE.

He has continuously the same expression, without any real nuance, while his emotions should change. Just look at the scenes at the beginning of episode 11. Between the moment when he is worried, learn the truth, hugs her, expresses his regrets, nothing changes. And it's the same the majority of the time, season 2 as season 1. The actor is not good enough for this drama. He could very well be an alien from Men In Black with a rubber thingy stuck on his face that doesn't have the nerve branches to come to life. His weird half-white hairs and dark green antic clothes make him even more alien like.

What I'm saying could create a controversy, and I'm not comfortable with that. So I probably won't answer if you disagree. Which I encourage you to do by providing convincing details and not just disapproving emotion. It's just that I need to express my opinion on this topic. Now I had, and don't have much more to say about this.

It was really hard, but in the end I got used to Na In Woo. Thank to that I enjoy the drama even more now.

The actor looks a bit too mature compared to Kim So Hyun, but I observed two things that counterbalance this rather well, in the recent episodes:
- The actor manages to give an impression of youth that deceives appearances, some innocence.
- Pyeong Gang now has a very mature character (princess, boss of the tribe, responsabilitys), more than On Dal (at least before he came out of the cave).

Now the characters are well balanced, and it all makes sense.

Na In Woo is very tall and massive while Kim So Hyun is very small and tiny, and that makes them a very unique couple. This kind of couple is more common than we imagine in real life, kind of like an attraction based on complementarity. So, hugs are nice here.

Somehow I feel Koreans make the best high concept sci fi shows nowadays
About high concept, there is a lot of innovations in kdramas, I agree. Still, there is many room for improvement and make scripts more logical about how it unfold. Scripts are very good about characters, symbolisms, correlation, plot-twists and emotion, but it need to be as good about others parts now : make this more believable.

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
Tae sul going through his past memories was a good scene. I feel like the kiss b/w MC wasn't needed in ep 11 coz…
Seo Hae needed this kind of exceptional situation for a kiss, according to her usualy very shy personnality about contact with man. Without this first kiss, she couldn't be ready for another kiss on the couch. It's how I interpret that. Also, the dialogs on the couch say that. Tae Sul tickle her with that.

Completed Ep 6..This is a solid action thriller and while not getting as much buzz as other shows,is one of the…
School fight scene was again a good fight scene, full sequence shot.
I don't think ML is a "damsel in distress" here. There is many proofs all along the way showing the opposite. But he need a serious bodyguard like Seo Hae, of course, because he's not competent in fighting skills.

Yup. She is either shy or reserve. Not very natural or connect in romance scene. Always look shock, stiff and…
Of course she's shy or reserved. Sea Hae personnality is made of a warrior woman and a child who never grow up, because she couldn't have a normal child story after the apocalypse. It make sens.

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
Even if I like this drama a lot, there are always and regularly shells that bother me. Some examples in spoiler,…
The first scene of episode 12 in the future is way too long, and in the end, it's mainly the end of the scene that brings something. Some situations are aberrant in this scene.
- Seo hae is walking in the sand and a sandstorm comes. It's the kind of storm that it's better not to face, but we see Seo Hae continue walking. She should have hidden in the cylindrical carcass which was an ideal shelter.
- Seo Hae protects her mouth but not her eyes in the sandstorm. This is also nonsensical. If she had an opportunity to use her gas mask, it would be here. Add to this the increased risk of contamination from the particles suspended in the storm.
- We see Seo Hae in a forest, suddenly she loses her balance and falls down a slope. She ends her fall in the center of a concrete building. It makes no sense. Even the vegetation around this building is different. We can't see why she landed there.
- At the end, Seo Hae and her father stay in the middle of the storm instead of going to a shelter.

I didn't understand a thing. LOLs. What did it add to the story? I mean, we can skip this and go to episode 13.…
It's too much to say it's filler, a lot of things happens, information given, or focus on leads story. But if I look back at ep 11 and 12, it's quite slow episodes. Some scenes could be shortened. It couldn't make 1 episode however. At best 1.5 episodes, so it's a problem. I need to rewatch the episodes to tell you each scene what it add new. Like you, I was expecting something more thrilling on these 2 episodes.

You even have to take a step back because there is a lot of irony, dark comedy, or self-parody.It's an acting…
From the same writer : "The Last Empress". Maybe "Temptation of wife".
From some of my favorite writers, step back and direct comedy, bad people, twists : "Incarnation of money". "History of the salaryman".
Full parody drama : "Psychopath Diary".
Bad people, no comedy : "Sky Castle".
Makjang, no comedy : "Queen of ambition". "The Promise".

You are a kind of historian of MDL articles. ;-)
Kick Ass fighting need to be refreshed, so many dramas with good fight since then. Recents ones, LUCA, Sisyphus, Vagabond, Lawless Layer. Many historical dramas with crazy good fights, 6 flying dragons, and many more.

Title Love Alarm Season 2 Spoiler
Love triangle is a classic in kdramas. You say actual other kdrama about love triangle are disapointing ? Can…
Not more kdrama than this one ?
I watched it, and actualy rewatch it because I missed many subtilities of the story. For me Love triangle is ok here, it's quite logic and understandable. Last drama I watched and I really couldn't stand the triangle was Dr Stranger. The new relationship with Kang So Ra looked too fresh and natural and old relationship didn't make any more sens.

The point of this controversy is not about just 'history and fiction'.Many of Koreans feel nasty when watch this…
After reading your comment, I started to think about that. It's difficult to take it as a mistake because the whole drama theme is fiction-horror. So, it's already highly fictionnal. It make more sens to set the history in a fictional context too. Or they wanted to make mad comedy like "Abraham Lincoln Vs Vampires" ?

I think Ji Soo was much better In this drama. Feel so sorry for all this. This is wery hard world.
I have the feeling he fit more the character too and have better partnerships with KSH. Also the new actor look older and too mature (in real he is one year younger than Ji-Soo). But I won't nitpick on this. If they reshoot, we will compare the acting style for fun. But better thing is the drama will be consistent from beginning to the end.

I think Ji-Soo was good in the first few episodes, but what bothered me the most was how hard it was to make the transition with Na In Woo. The chemistry between the two leads was broken. Also, the way the character was rendered from an actor to the other was different, so it sounded fake. Finally, it prevented the drama from being a consistent work of art from the beginning to the end.
It is really a brave and expensive decision that KBS takes, and it is also the first time that it happens. So thank you to the channel for doing this. I will enjoy rewatching the drama next.

I find yeonhee really boring this season. I hope the writer has something written for her in the last 3 episodes
She's a bit far away of the action. It's difficult to get her emotions about Rona death too.
I didn't use my watch chrono, but maybe she has less screentimes ? If the character don't have significative plot actualy, it's quite normal.
I don't know why she don't come back as queen of the opera.
