Oh, you are far from that. There is indeed maaaaany weird things, and maybe a bad props man, it's hard to differentiate weirds details on purpose or mistake.
But about So-Jin call to the police, there is a explanation why she don't call police. I don't say to you now because you are at episode 6 and I won't give you spoiler.

I like very much Cheon Seo Jin & Ha Yoon Chul "back romance".
Sound true and believable, even if about Seo Jin, she fall more easely in this because she's weakened.
Still, the fate of their daughter is at stake. Both of the characters admit their feeling.
And anyway, it was forshadowed during episode 1 with a fact :
Yoon Chul is better in bed than Dan Tae. He gave his fingers for that...

Just watch Penthouse, so you get the feeling your life is peacefull no matters what.

Soe Jin in trouble. lol.

Season 1 was already draggy, slow and not mind blowing.
So, I m curious to watch if S2 is so much a disaster....

I didnt watched yet S2. But it's weird.
This is the drama watchers wait the most, then there is so low rating ?

Moon lovers, or Rooftop Prince : More bittersweet than sad ending for me.
Iris, Jang Ok Jung, Cruel city : Straight on sad ending. Maybe a bit brutal or unexcepted.
Sandglass, Road number one : More sad than sad ending. Devastating.

I prefer sad ending, and even "more than sad" ones. For people who don't mind to know if a drama has a sad ending, and are ready to get that spoiler, I made a public list. Keep in mind in this list, there is all sorts of sad ending, because people are free to add any drama. And some drama are considered to be sad, when I don't think it's so sad, but more bittersweet.
