Yeah, I understand that. I often feel that, and of course, writer knows that and plays on it. Plays on it in a very direct way in this drama. It works better on me with villains having more time, to get this cathartic effect. Or it works too with annoying people, even when they don't have much screentime, not big villains but people causing a wrong because they are unsufferable, and they get trouble. Ahahah!

I noticed a slowdown in Ep4 second part too. If I remember other dramas with "case of the week" (something I dislike), some are well made, because they use that as a setup or for comedy, then switch to a more serial story. Then some "case of the week" dramas just stay like that until the end. Sigh! More and more difficult for me to watch that. Last one I really liked was Dr. Romantic. Else I'm addict to the big plot start to finish and "to be continued".

It's too much caricatural and on the surface to make me feel that. So I find those scenes quite boring. But I'm happy some people like that. It's proof simple storytelling still work. Then, I'm not sure about it's very healthy to feel joy about tortured people, even if they deserve it. I don't have an answer, but what's funny: in one of my own stories, there is a discussion about that in a scene. It doesn't last long, and of course, it's more a thematic, so I don't give any answer, just people having conflicting opinions and arguments.
Funny: she leaves the body next to the police station. So to forces ML to call her again.
She has no manners and starts to eat while they pray.
An interesting conflict and thematic: FL thinks all it needs is just punish villains. ML thinks a legal trial is important to know the truth.
A grumbly old woman interrupts them. Says one of them will die if they continue to date. Gosh... Is it "God", like in My Demon?
Pace of drama is slowing down now. A bit less comedy. Slice of life scene. Cops have diner at night.
New girl finds "J" a mysterious serial killer with 12 murders. I bet it's ML's parent killer. Well, it's almost confirmed.
Good detail exploited now. When she thrown the Zcola can. Maybe he could find her fingerprints on it. I don't remember the cleaning team took care of the can.

A good idea for world building, I was hoping. The postman give a letter from heaven to the boy. So, there's not only Hell part acting on Earth, but also Heaven part.
Heartbeats, she makes the fatal error to fall in love. Looks like it's also a physical shock because she falls too. I presume she didn't expect falling in love would be against her own will, because she knows nothing about that. Then she faints in his arms, to make last scene romantic and dramatic.

Child actor is talented, as it's often the case in kdramas.
Good idea to drive the car out of the lake. Then, sigh... slow-motion... PSH in badass mode... Oh here, a makjang slap! LOL, then a super-power SLAP! No plot-hole, well done, the glue was soluble in the water. Now the "Illusion punition". When she drowns, short flashbacks of her husband doing the same.
Here she has a good morality for a demon from hell: She never hurt children. I expected the drama doesn't use really bad people as protagonists. I prefer that. But at times, I had doubts. Also, it's not coherent with notions of good and evil from bible mythology. Somehow, kdrama rather uses of fantasy mix with their own mythology.
Glad to see torture/punishment scenes were a bit shorter. But it's still long, and a bit boring. Almost comedy: hell gate is in the Zcola drinks dispenser. Cleaning team time. The drama has reccurent moments giving it an identity.
I ended Ep3 only. I can just say it's the episode when the two character interactions become good. Before, ML was flat and underpowered, but now there is a common ground.
About the "Goal" gag, a nice trick here: It's re-used when the children pass, and she thumbs up.
Next, she knows the bible quite well. "The Bible was so hot and blinding. I had to wear firefighter gloves and welding goggles to read it." Good line absurdly funny.
I see that coming now: The killer of ML's parents will go into the story. Maybe the final judgment with lot of murders, what makes a high counts for FL. No idea yet if it will be a normal human killer or maybe someone with super-powers like a roaming demon. There could be a twist maybe?
I like how the ML is bold and can easely pisses off her. Now she's annoyed by this guy following her everywhere. Nice interactions. And when she makes a scene: he pull out the cross unexpectedly. lol!
Does it make sens she choose so low cases? There are many big criminals with dozen of murders.
Interesting trick: First time we see the car accident wasn't true. It was the POW of the wife murderer. Then we see the scene from POW of son later.
It's now the regular modus-operandi of the drama: As a judge, she always releases the criminal. Then comes back to kill them as a demon. I wonder if ML will see the execution.
Again, the villain is very caricatural and one dimensional. Well, should be said there isn't enough time to do that better. Then, there is something wrong if she lets the wife kills the son.
This episode was quite good, better than episode 2.
The scene with this new girl making fun of Judge's assistant is awful. Sounds like "girl power" in the worst way.
Except this point, there are a lot of funny scenes, like the one in the police station: She pretends he likes "that kind of thing" with handcuffs. Then next line: "It didn't go as far as putting a dog lead on me"
Some easy gags, but still ok, like kicking the ball and Goal! It's mostly it's done at the right moment, creating an absurd feeling.
Half episode is a new case, and we could see that coming: It's a procedural with each episode a new case. Kind of thing I don't like.
ML tried to contact her and he's a bit more bold now. What's a good point.
