I dont understand, they obviously had s*x so why are their clothes still on afterward?! They don't even have to show skin, at least show the white layer of undergarment and take those dangly hair accessories off so it make more sense!
For those who are looking what to watch, i recommend Oh no here comes troubles! Its very different from Starry…
I had plan to watch this, just waiting for it to finish airing. AvenueX also recommended it.
She said the male lead resembles Yang Yang, Wang Yibo and Song WeiLong depending on expressions. He also has similar ugly cry like YQ in TSL. I think he has an interesting face too, so Lol I'm looking forward to watch it.
The original episodes that supposed to be aired are 60...and now theres only 40 episode which mean they cut off…
From what I heard, they can still split dramas into 2 or more seasons but the condition is they have to wait a few months in between. I think TTEOTM production crew worried in obtaining another air time slot plus the hype and its popularity will died down during the wait-time so they decided to cut it and pack as much as they can in a season.
IMO, I wouldn't have mind waiting if it means better editing and pacing, smooth transition of plots and more in-dept character side stories.
I feel bad for all the side and support characters in this drama. None of them lasted long, none of them had enough screen time smh. They should've split it into 2 seasons...
I only watched the first episode and I find its kinda weird when I read that theres no romance at all in this wuxia drama. Even though love should be a normal thing, when theres none at all I feel that its kinda out of place.
Is this like The Untamed with many bromance and some female-male relationships/couples on the side? Should I continue watching?
Another wonderful taiwanese classic that I watched a long time ago!
Yes, if only Jimmy Lin and Yoo Ha Na continue their pursuit in acting, I think they would've reach new heights by now. Though since they both chose to keep a lower profile and put family first, I respect that as well.
So I've watched this many long years ago, and the fact that it still left a strong impression on me should prove something.
Back then, I had read the entire manga series MARS and was thrill when they adapted it into a live-action drama. Although if you compare the manga to its drama version, there was some parts that were censored out (i.e. sex scenes and other dark scenes, normal with asian dramas) and FL is more babyfaced rather than voluptuous looking. BUT, the acting did not disappoint and the psychological trauma /deep emotions was still very well portrayed. They adapted and followed at least 90% of original manga.
Good news for those who wish to watch or rewatch TSL in higher quality or refinished version! Youku finally made an international website that can be accessed by computer.
Regardless of whether it is a new wuxia type of story or not. Having a weak ML in an action-packed drama is just…
Agreed with what everyone above me said and I just want to add... ML isn't completely useless in martial art fights, at least he is the fastest in terms of his qinggong or his "Ten Breath Steps" where even highly skilled martial artist couldn't catch up to him. And combine with the FL who has strong wugong already, I think this is plenty action-packed. lol
I find it interesting that he's scheduled to star in at least 3 upcoming dramas with no confirmed female lead actress yet. I guess its difficult to find one which he has high chemistry with. LLD still the best match for our CXX.
I‘m loving this drama so much, my CW list is full and I need to catch up with many dramas still the only thing…
Same here! I have so many partly CW dramas on my list that I'm trying to clear. My mind wanders from drama to drama, but the one I come back to at the end of the day is TSL.
I'm addicted to NiuDi CP and so in love with LLD and CXX as an individual as well. I'm looking forward to all their upcoming dramas before they come back and work with each other again.
https://youtu.be/stbWJjJWwAQIt’s the one where he is a general and she a female ghost king or something. There…
If they will be starring in another xianxia, then it will take even more time for production crew to build the set, tailor the costumes and train to prepare compare to being in a modern drama.
I think part of it has to do with Confucianism and filial piety too. When he went into the anomaly to die he was…
Wow, well put! Suddenly it remind me of the story of NeZha, where he slice his flesh and and carve out his bones to save his family and repay his parents for his birth. Most of the time Nezha's father wasn't portrayed very nicely either in adaptations across films and dramas.
So i saw a rumor on a youtube channel that chen xing xu and Landi Li might reunite for another xianxia. Lets wait…
Yeah we been hearing about that ever since TSL ended. I'm afraid even if they do collaborate, we wont get to see their new drama until maybe 2 years later. Thats usually about how long it takes for a popular CP to work together again depending on their schedule. Because they are such hardworking and serious actors, I'm sure they will be wise about the next roles they pick together to give us something refreshing. Hopefully, NiuDi fans will remain strong and maybe we will get to see them again sooner.

It is definitely a classic worth watching.
Yike, months of filming get washed down the drain...

Only thing I hope they add is the function to download videos like they have on the app.

LLD is so talented and charismatic. Love her voice. We couldn't have found a better YT.
Would love to see her entire stage performance but I only found part of it.
