Pot calling the kettle black. She does come to her senses and breaks off with her BF. Sometimes life is like that with indecision. It's not all black and white. The choice is ours to make. This is what you would call a slow burn. ML and FL trying not to be attracted to each other. "They are." The FL "fiancee" no ring, just expectations, doesn't know anything she likes, she's done all the traveling, given up time for him, never there when she needs him and he wants her to give up her job (which she is very good at), What so she can sit at home waiting for him to put in an appearance? Oh come on. No chemistry there. With that said they really spent so much time apart that they have grown apart. FL and ML have just started. At work they are both professional out side of the office they are slowly getting to know each other within the parameters of propriety. Of course they're not showing their true emotions. That comes later. So if you don't like restrained relationships and slow burns this is not the drama for you.♥

I like how they slip in one still shot at the end for the next episode. Just an outfit or a look, a different shot of something you didn't see in the last episode. Voila there it is in the next episode. Very clever.♥

Ahh but he has only been caught two times. What about all the other times while he was not around he rand didn't get caught. I don't like SML (ex). He is too slimy. ♥

Yes it's all up to the director to get the best performances from the actors. I don't know about the rest of the world but here we have male teachers and yes they can make a difference in a woman's life. Propriety is everything and I think the relationship between the two leads for now is propitious. No worse than a teen idolizing a singer/hero. Same thing. Yes the fem fatal is very apparent in the script but hey what did you expect? It is well done so far as the script allows. I have seen worse. I think we are all spoiled by the better quality series that have come out. << They have raised the bar. This was filmed a while ago now so the bar may not have been raised at the time. Still better than most series so far. Love and Peace♥

His treatment of her was to keep her at arms length because he really feels very deeply about her. If you watch the whole series at the end it becomes very clear they belong to each other and are very in tune.

Wuxia/xianxia. Wuxia is solely martial arts. Xianxia is where the "Gods" come in. This has both but more Wuxia. ♥

Re watching this and enjoying it immensely. This is one of the classics and well worth the attention. The acting is fantastic. Other than a few sound glitches and scenery glitches not worth noticing. The cinematography is wonderful and the plot is note worthy. Kept me on the edge of my seat all over again. ♥

The princess has no romance except with the prince of Yan. He leaves and never comes back. Not the main plot.♥

Acting was good. The story is same old, same old. Still enjoyable easy watch.♥

The point here is if you don't like historical/comical/romantic genre then why are you watching? You can drop if you feel it's not up to historical/comical/romantic genre standards but don't trash it cause it's not your type of series. Somebody may like them. Some dramas grow on you after 10 episodes give it a chance only if you like the genre/type of drama. ♥

I love this drama. Especially after watching a stuffy cowtowing drama. I still laugh at the maid quarter segment where she flips the dowager mother onto the bed and didn't get in trouble. (Mother enjoyed the excitement.) hahahaha. ♥

The ending is great. The lead up is important lots of reveals. Don't give up.♥

For some reason this didn't end up on my watched list. I am re-watching this drama and enjoying every minute of it. This series has so many twists, plots and shockers entwined in a love story. It all works out in the end. Enjoy the ride. ♥
