Ep 19 - 20 just moving the chess pieces around. The only movement on relations is mostly the Emperor and the Princess. Boundaries set and the pieces are set up on the board. Which way will they move?

I looked up Baixi and could not come up with the method they are saying took place in the drama. I get names and definitions that have nothing to do with what they are saying. He takes on the pain from the emperor. Some magic they have performed. So if the emperor dies or gets hurt then Fang Zhu gets hurt or dies too? That's my take on it. Whether or not he marries that dreary lady I don't know. (I hope not) Kinda sad really, to be so tied up you can't live your life.♥

I guess I forget that there are younger people who have not had to face in their lives the painful loss and sadness over and over when loosing loved ones. My heart is toughened but I still enjoy the tearful moments in the dramas. It is a release of empathy. Happy drama watching.♥

When watching a drama take it as it is not interject other views and novels and suppositions. Just enjoy it. Let it flow. You will find out the story in time. Everyone is in such a hurry. Sit back and Enjoy what is presented. The ending may surprise you. Love and Peace.♥

Humm, I have a different take on the chess scene. My take is she is telling him not to come after her or do anything to help her OR she could not control herself and her feelings. In other words let her go so she can heal and move on. Not about his marriage but about her and she is trying to get away to forget him as she has fallen in love with him. He knows full well and will always have a corner of his heart for her. ♥

Umm, she broke up with SML before ML came onto the scene. He ran into her drowning her sorrows in the bar he performs at. So I don't think she was out of line per se. She had already broken up with SML. She bared her drunken soul to ML about the break up. What was he to think? I don't think she did anything dishonest.

When you have a son be sure to raise him to be honorable. Think what that means and raise him to that level. Love and Peace♥

The emperor is an a--h--e. I don't want her to be with him. He treats his women callously. All but his one love who died. No one can compare in his mind.♥

He raised her with propriety. She hero worships him but as she has gotten older it's changed to a deeper love. He is not that old. He was 17 when he helped the emperor. Young ladies need to discern if men are inappropriate or not. I think he raised her appropriately. To protect her he raised her as a boy. Women, I know, should be discerning and not be afraid of every man they meet. Not all men are letches. Some are honorable. Love and Peace♥

It's like seeing something you love in a store but can't afford the price. You save and save so you can buy it. I thought that too the ML and her kinda hypocritical >> specially her. Pot calling the kettle black. She does come to her senses and breaks off with her BF. Sometimes life is like that with indecision. It's not all black and white. The choice is ours to make. This is what you would call a slow burn. ML and FL trying not to be attracted to each other. "They are." The FL "fiancee" no ring, just expectations, doesn't know anything she likes, she's done all the traveling, given up time for him, never there when she needs him and he wants her to give up her job (which she is very good at), What so she can sit at home waiting for him to put in an appearance? Oh come on. No chemistry there. With that said they really spent so much time apart that they have grown apart. FL and ML have just started. At work they are both professional out side of the office they are slowly getting to know each other within the parameters of propriety. Of course they're not showing their true emotions. That comes later. So if you don't like restrained relationships and slow burns this is not the drama for you.♥

I like how they slip in one still shot at the end for the next episode. Just an outfit or a look, a different shot of something you didn't see in the last episode. Voila there it is in the next episode. Very clever.♥

Ahh but he has only been caught two times. What about all the other times while he was not around he rand didn't get caught. I don't like SML (ex). He is too slimy. ♥

Yes it's all up to the director to get the best performances from the actors. I don't know about the rest of the world but here we have male teachers and yes they can make a difference in a woman's life. Propriety is everything and I think the relationship between the two leads for now is propitious. No worse than a teen idolizing a singer/hero. Same thing. Yes the fem fatal is very apparent in the script but hey what did you expect? It is well done so far as the script allows. I have seen worse. I think we are all spoiled by the better quality series that have come out. << They have raised the bar. This was filmed a while ago now so the bar may not have been raised at the time. Still better than most series so far. Love and Peace♥
