I myself am totally aware that I am watching dramas created and produced in China. I have learned a lot about the Chinese people and the kinds of lives they live under their regime. I enjoy watching. Of course I take with a grain of salt any effort they make in regard to their nationalism. I ask you, if you watch a US show is it not the same? I have learned about their ancient culture and their current culture only what they wish me to learn. I get a real sense tho reading between the lines what a great people the Chinese are. Ep 40. To me it was a satisfactory ending. It gave hope. It did surprise me the pres and Hong Mei's relationship. Good for her she needed something better than what she had. (all the people using her as a money machine) Loved the internet of things ploy. Yes keep up with the times Mr. Wang. he he he. SX and XM looked like he has a chance to recover the relationship.
