I don't understand the ending of ep 13. why is Hua saying "are you telling my alpha to sleep with another…
I think he thinks that his alpha has been leaving during his rut and sleeping with other "omega" during that time. so when the doctor recommends him to continue sleeping with the super compatible omega, Hua Yong didnt realize that he himself is probably - since they havent shown us SSY sleeping with anyone else, the person that doctor is really talking about, not some other omega.
honestly wasn't gonna watch because sometimes BL directing is kinda cringe but... started and binged all the way to 13 in a day π was entertaining, fun, and surprisingly high quality. hope theres more like this coming!
After today's episode, I'm actually fine whether or not the leads have a romantic relationship. I can really see it going either way and there's enough respect, chemistry, but also guidance and mentorship in a way that I don't NEED romance.
Highlight of today's episode? The freaking side couple?!?! lol are the other 2 attorneys going to become a thing because they are sooooo comfortable with each other. lol watching them was amusing and somehow sweet at the same time
I'm still enjoying this show greatly and I went in not really knowing what to expect. I really hope ML moves on because he dodged a bullet. Even that conversation at the beginning of ep5 showed that she really didn't and still doesn't respect or care for him. lol it felt like she continuously rubbed salt on his wounds and if that's the case, just move on my guy. She's now happily married to someone else. You can find fatherhood with someone else that respects and loves you.
Today's case was okay. It certainly felt like they wrote it like that so the FL would have an underdog type of win but for someone that has been shown to us as smart and detail oriented, it wasn't great with how she didn't even speak to her actual client but only her mother before the case.
I want to know what the ML said to the pro bono lawyer that got him scared and just left the court case mid way through LOL up and left after he got a whispering to π
I hope we get more scenes with the sister and I'm assuming we will as they try to patch up both of the leads personal lives.
I've seen a few references to this comment but I think I missed it? Where was it?
honestly, thats what I thought from the preview too. seems like he lashed out preemptively from unconscious jealousy cause lol I dont think she did anything crazy except meet the defendent accidentally at a bar? but I guess we'll see tomorrow
The wife divorcing her husband and marrying his best friend β what a terrible situation. π Whatβs the real…
I dont think she did that on purpose. my take is that for some reasons, they both agreed not to have a child when they got married. she got pregnant and didnt communicate it to him at all and took action on her own. this is my issue with her. the decision to keep or abort is 100% her own, however, shes married to this other person and has a committed relationship. to not even mention it to him at all lost all my respect because she obviously didn't care about him. even if she thought he would've wanted to keep it, she shouldve been honest first.
that obviously put strain on their relationship and they got divorced. she then probably seeked comfort elsewhere and the high school friend was probably there at the right time and place? im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here. one thing led to another and they got pregnant and this time she probably didn't go into the relationship with the "we dont want children" sentiment. I do wonder though why they named the fetus miracle. did she have issues conceiving at one point? but that didnt seem to be the case. not sure but its sad that we see ML side of the story and hes still obviously mourning the lost of the relationship he had and how he could've been a father. sucks that it was contrasted with the shtty father that abuses his own young daughter. π
people still arguing about whether the romance will happen meanwhile hyo min is sniffing his handkerchief and…
lol and I feel like its not even just her. from his first time meeting her til now, he is VERY different towards her, and not just because he sees potential in her as a lawyer. lol im like, theyre not even being subtle with the romance 4 episodes in so....
I agree and actually think they have a very realistic slow burn chemistry in the drama. It's sweet to watch haha
omg, Im so sorry. I totally misread your initial comment π«£ i like KYS too, but in this show they actually come off more like friends than potential lovers. but I def agree with the pretending not to know her at the beginning. I was like WHY?!?!
Honestly, I dont really think this drama deserves under an 8 score. It's not the most captivating drama but most slice of life dramas aren't. I find it to be a comforting drama almost. I enjoy watching the slower stories unfold and how the attorneys are still learning about each other and growing closer even though they've known each other for awhile. I find it actually very accurate. just because you've known someone for a long time doesn't mean you know everything about them and this drama shows that well. even in ep 6 when the newbie to the group knew about everyone's situation before the others knew is interesting.
I think the slow burn romance rekindling between the leads is actually kind of nice. lol now that we know more of their story, its even more implausible that AJH didnt remember her at the beginning. π
they seem like they connected so well on their trip in HK and even now the connection between them remains stable and sweet. cant wait for more of the romance, he clearly has started to want to get closer.
also, I haven't seen YKS in so long. glad to see him here even if in a smaller role.
I was like why are the humans fighting each other? lol like theres a bigger problem right now. the zombies? like if they just partnered up instead of beating the shit out of each other, they probably would've made it out lol and how is he fighting like that with a gunshot wound
does that mean that the zombies do better in water since it was a fish mutation? they kind of started thriving when the sprinklers went off. also, this man's dedication to his wife lol got him killed and kinda started this whole thing. but still, the love he has for her. lol
Singh is the real zombie making it out of all that intact lol
I'll be the devil's advocate because while I understand why people are saying he should've allowed the brothers to switch, I think if he allowed it once, there's a high possibility of chaos breaking out. If they are allowed to, other men will start to think they have a chance to switch theirs. It could start off as willingly, but what if people start to beg? Is it right that now those who chose a long string is subjected to being filled with guilt if they say no? They're all already feeling survivors guilt, why add the additional trauma of them refusing to switch their strings? He went with saving half and I think he did it the right way. Even the other Navy Captain (Lee Min Ki) told him to stay strong and chose to go to the losing side. Do I think it was fair? No. Would I have made that decision? Probably not, but I'm just a civilian office worker. I would've said, let's all die together lol cause that would've been the most fair. This wasn't even a sacrifice a few to save the many. I think they did an even split with the threads? Yeah, this whole movie was morally grey except for the higher ups that fked up and then tried to cover it up. I feel like no one could reaaaaally hate the "villain" in this. overall, the submarine scenes were heartbreaking and if i really wanted to bawl my eyes out i would ask for a whole movie with their pov instead π
also, I kept feeling like it was missing something and I think it was the character development from the crew members. because while we definitely understand what the catalyst was for the bombing situation, we were never given enough time to really learn about the crew members. in our eyes, they were just all good men, but (and maybe im jaded), but there's usually always an a hole in the group or someone that is more selfish. that's not too say one deserved to die over the other but it would've added a bit of color to the crew. To see the 22 men who drew the short straw all succumb to their fate that silently (aside from the brother, of course) made it lack depth. not complaining since they probably wouldn't have the time to add much more character development without making the movie too long. also, I've heard that being trapped in a ship/ boat for a long time (and for them, lacking oxygen) could cause other psychological breakdowns, which also would've been interesting to see.
why the low rating? seems like a solid start so far with an enemies to lovers trope presently. would love to know more of their past and LMAO she took him not remembering her really well cause it seems like it wasn't just that one kiss? they spent time together. I was thinking maybe they had a one night stand but that doesn't seem to be the entire case? at least that's won't drag out too long and he tells her he remembers next episode.
honestly, love all the food shots and I love watching doctor/laywer shows for the different cases they bring up. the mains also visually look very nice together, so lets see if their onscreen chemistry can sizzle haha
The empress looks fairly young tbf remove all her dark make up, she will look even younger. She looks same age…
haha i think im just so used to most of these shows using the illegitimate heir trope that star crossed lovers threw me off haha
I'm sure she is young and probably .looks younger than her age since she's technically a stepmother, but definitely not as young as the FL since even when her mom the previous empress died, the FL was 7? and the new empress was probably 10 years older? 17? lol sometimes Chinese drama ages throw me off because of how young everyone was supposed to be back then when all this political stuff happened

Can't wait for the next case!!
