it's a nice blend of romance, comedy, fluff, and drama. usually multiple couples have a tendency to put stronger at the beginning and fall off at the end but in perfect match, the couples near the end are a bit more compelling for me personally so it was rewarding to push through/keep watching. but if i had to pick one reason, it's because all the male leads ending up as simps for their wives and any scenes where the men are treating their wives like they're their everything is just glorious and so satisfying to watch

the series is not sponsored by Samsung. You only see that banner because it's a public electronic banner running multiple ads (one of them is Samsung) actually put up at the BTS station so they leave that footage there just as is.

It's a GDH productions so it'll be available on Netflix in 4-5 months time. It will take 1-2 months for it to get distributed internationally at your local cinemas, depending on where you live.

It airs every Saturday. It also airs on One31 TV channel for thailand tv watchers so it's just like any other series, not a 'drop everything at once' netflix-style series

Actually One31 is just a channel. Sometimes they outsourced their TV slots (especially late night/non prime time slots) to series produced by other companies like Kinnporsche or 4Minutes (produced by BOC) or I Feel You Linger In The Air (produced by DeeHupHouse), or Petrichor (produced by TV Thunder and iqiyi). BLs that are exclusively produced for and by One31 are To Sir With Love, Love In Translation, Laws of Attraction, Century Of Love and Spare Me Your Mercy.

Actually it's because they are the most popular channel network right now in Thailand. Usually it's a tight competition between CH3, One31 and CH7. But in this year, One31 seems to be the frontrunner with their dramas because they are willing to take risks with their storytelling in both queer and het works of theirs while CH3 and CH7 are falling back from cliche and cheesy writing. Other TV networks like GMM25 (where GMMTV series air) has never even really be in the competition in terms of ratings because it's a traditionally known as a channel that markets towards teen audience only or other BL/GL series are mostly online only series.

High ratings for SMYM is a really good sign because this was a series that talked about a lot of important social issues. Hopefully the messages of this series has been received well by the mainstream Thai audience.

It's official - Spare Me Your Mercy is the highest average rating of a BL series in Thai Television TV history. Even though SMYM's peak did not reach as high as To Sir With Love (whose peak was 2.8 for EP 16), SMYM had a higher overall rating through out its 8 episodes and performed well on Christmas day for its finale.

if you ask about gmmtv bl series, they have terribly low ratings so gmmtv stopped publishing them since middle of last year. their bl series mostly averaged from 0.1-0.5
