Yes, she completely shattered his indifferent and "distant" posterior he puts on as a God. I think they both are aware of XY conflicting feelings for her but other factors like the difference in status and the tension between their two realms complicates both their feelings..can't wait for him to admit he doesn't care about any of that soon, and just gives in to wanting to be with her!
Everyone said it already but the scene with their *talk* was too good, from the way it was shot, the dialogue, the acting and the tension. Shen Li is usually coarse, but her words to XZ felt extra harsh. Although with his mouth he was saying it was "good thing" she moved on each word seemed like a stab; that's what his face showed. Even though she was technically being rejected by him her harshness made it seem like the opposite. Just when I thought her rejection of Mofang was brutal, her nonchalance in the face of his "rejection" somehow felt worse. But like everyone else is saying, I think the way she handled it will make him realize his feelings quicker. Kudos to the actors again I can't praise them enough

both leads seem to have gotten alot a free reign in terms of ad libbing and character design and I think thats what adds the extra something that ,akes it so enjoyable to watch. (not comparing) but I remeber for lfbad wang hedi was allowed to take alot of creative liberty with character design and those little things was what made his character to memorable. cdramaland directors should take this as a sign to let actors (esp the more experience ones) to have more creative imput

i have soooo many complaints about this drama yet I can't seem to drop it yet. i'm on ep 20 and i think i should reserve my comments until the end (if i finish it) but what I will say is the gap in acting skills is unbearable. I really wish the casting for the roles of some of the friends was different. so many emotional moments did not land for me and had no impact simply because of the actors...like yz and jsj are the only reason why I'm holding on atm
the actors who played the kids real ages are in their 20s so they could've easily played their 30-year selves as well. i also thought that the final episode was unnecessary but it doesn't change the fact this is the best drama to come out of last year
