I felt the same as you! I had high hopes too, thought all the chosen actors did their part, but couldn't feel…
Right?! Lol I also got frustrated when they revealed that detail early on, it’s a problem I have with dramas today honestly, they give away all the answers in the first few episodes but forget what a tv series is essentially supposed to do especially if you have action and suspense, actually “building” the suspense lol … writers should not be writing for some kdramas let me tell you xD

completely agree lol! oh girl, I would’ve chosen some action actors for this role like ji chang wook or lee dong wook, I think they would’ve been excellent choices, my third choice would’ve been kim seon ho even though he’s not an action actor he released a film called “the childe” and literally that film impressed me lol he’s got some serious acting skills and can rock a suit, and if the writers were going for a goofy male lead he’d be a great choice.

EXACTLY! best way to describe this show is something was missing … dude I hate split seasons too, absolutely pointless imo … I love psj too but I think for the first time since I’ve started watching his dramas, I actually felt he was miscast in this role. He did a good job, but there are three other actors I can think of that would have fit this role perfectly imo, hsh did great in her role though I thought.
honestly this series was not for me like idk maybe it was the pacing? but I had high expectations and this show just didn’t live up to them, the chemistry between the leads was great, but the plot kind of dragged toward the end idk …
binged this today & damn … whoever was in charge of pacing for this show did a terrible job lol … the series overall was not what I thought it was gonna be & kind of a letdown but that’s just me, curious on what others think
She starts off so badass, and then apparently forgets that she knows martial arts.
I see this in multiple dramas and it seriously pisses me off, truly believe writers get drunk and forget the characters they wrote, it’s embarrassing like lol
The longer this drama went on, the more I felt like I was at work and in a meeting that should have been an email.
truly believe writers screw over the fl on purpose atp, especially with martial arts knowledge, happened the same way in the king-eternal monarch, main fl was a martial artist, and they completely forgot about it in later episodes… drives me nuts.
I had high hopes for this drama but I agree with the other comments saying this season was disappointing, in truth, I hoped for cha hyun soo to appear more in this season with him being the actual main character, but it was like he was sidelined by newer characters, which is a personal pet peeve of mine, when writers don’t know who their lead characters are … lol, the only newer character I felt something for was park chan young (played by jung jin young) I honestly thought he was a kind character and I see some romance in his future if the writers stick with it, hope there’s more of him in s3, to add the acting was great but the plot was a bit all over the place lol, hope s3 can deliver compared to s2
let me just say, not normally a fan of live-action animes (rurouni kenshin & one piece being the couple I actually enjoy as much as the manga & anime) , but this one was not half bad, I do believe it deserved at least 10 episodes instead of 5 to flesh out the overall manga storyline, still have no idea why we got only 5 … the acting was good, cgi was honestly not terrible, and it made me want to watch the anime & read the manga, so I think the show did its job, hope we get a s2
me tell you xD
