Title Ever Night Season 2 Spoiler
After ep 30, almost all of them have major fight scenes.
They are both alive, people interpret because they don't know that the third season should be out in 2022. The ending of the sory is in the third and final season.

Why not change the main woman lead also, i hate to see the main woman lead i just love the story not the woman…
Lol she is perfect for the role, who would you want to play a 16 year old? Also there is no legitimate reason to change her, as she is a good actress and did justice to the character.

Title Ever Night Season 2 Spoiler
At first, I don't really understand why everyone is having a problem with the second season. Surely it's not going…
I did not see him the way you did :)) I did not see him at all as broody and wooden, I actually thought he matured and was emotionally stonger as he was fighting to keep Sang Sang from loosing hope, he was also puting her first and not himself. He could not act as in season 1 since actually did lose a lot of people and the others were nòt after him anymore, but they were after the person he cares for the most, when this person is at the weakest. The entire responsibility is on him. So I did not think of it as a personality transplant but as character developement for both our main actors. :)

Title Ever Night Season 2 Spoiler
I not only liked this drama, I'm waiting for Season 3. EN2 deals with a changed Ning. He's no longer the swaggering…
YES!!! You are the first person that actually took in acount realistically the events and their impact, I explained to many people as well, about the character developement and even the representation of the story, because a lot of people did not understand it. I also knew of a plan for a third and final season, but people say it was canceled... I would love to have an official answer because this is a good project and it has beautiful details and it's very well thought and it has a realistic portrayal for how actions impact people and their personalities and reactions.
So do you think we will get a third season? I would like to see the ending on the screen and not only in the book. :)

love sang sang
He can't do much because there are god level characters envolved, where he is just a disciple. People should read the book since we will never get the final season where things were suposed to be explained.

Title Ever Night Season 2 Spoiler
Just started watching this. It feels weird with actors being changed for several of the main characters. I really…
It's not the actor it's the book, the main character has a huge character developement in the book, from an imature over confident guy that is always redy to fight, becoming someone that tasted what it feels to almost lose the only important thing in his life. The second season is an internall battle for hope... so he is not that confident he is exausted, in the second season he is not the most important, In his eyes she becomes number 1, so all he does is acts in ways that would make her fight.
This series was suposed to have a third season but apparently it was canceled... and so we don't get to see the true ending when things are resolved.

Title Ever Night Season 2 Spoiler
I am super confused, I want to watch this but should I watch the 2018 Ever Night one first or not. I this supposed…
Ok so basically Evernight tv show is made after a book and the content of the book was planed for 3 seasons, the begining of the story in season 1 the mid in season 2 and the ending in season 3.
Season 1 is full on energy, dynamic and full of firsts and makes the people cheer for the underdog.
The second season is more static and depicts a huge character developement after a huge shock, the main actor was changed and people blamed him and the writers; when actualy they respected the book ( in the book our characters are on the run for years and years and the reason our main guy seems weeker is because his enemies are god like in power and he is still just a cultivator learning, his level is not that high yet.
To answer to you question yes second season is the continuation of the first but it has a change of pacing and a strong character developement that can be confusing for people that did not read the book.
Because people did not understand how the story was planed out they complained, they also complained about the change of actors, so it seems the third season was canceled. So we never get the actual full storie and the twists or a bad ass ending, we got an open ending that is interpretable.

I am at episode 13 :) I see that people complain about this drama but I will not, I actually like it :)
I have high standards and I tend to complain about every little thing when it comes to acting, writing, and production but lately, I saw so many dramas that created stupid plot twists at the end of the series just for a dramatic effect that annoyed me very much (they even made me think of Spanish telenovelas). This series, on the other hand, was chill when it came to absurdity so it was like a breath of fresh air, it was simple (which I noticed that people did not like, too undramatic I guess).
The main character made me like him so much, it's rare for a person to stay innocent and real to himself when the world is so hungry for money and attention that they don't care who they step over. The main character goes through a lot and he does not change, he remains, fair and caring to everyone around him.

Review My Husband Won't Fit Spoiler
Interesting. I didn't know the back story. However, that has very little to do with the success fulness of this…
You are right, the layers are hidden, I think because it's from her perspective... as she wrote the book as an intimate journal but at the same time she is a closed, traumatized person that lacks confidence, her writing is just as restricted.
If I understood better from the extra information, as it's presented that she as a teen did not care about sex and thought it's not a big deal only to lose it in such a bad way, she was actually traumatized, she regretted it and when the guy that she actually fell in love wanted to be with her she cared too much, and felt dirty and inadequate so because of her trauma and her fillings throws herself her lower part acted that way, her vaginismus only activated with him. So basically everything about her shows that when it matters she can't open up, she can't express her self, she has the tendency to close herself even more, as I mentioned she still hides from the public from fear of judgment and this is the story of someone that clearly is troubled, the thoughts of someone that does not have very coherent thoughts. Could be it translated like that in the book and on the screen... could be they wanted to live it as close as possible to her reality, for me, it was successful because it frustrated me :))
As a girl, I thought, this woman is helpless and she gave up on something that has a solution, how bad was the place she was "fighting'' in for her to get to this state?
But yes the story does not seem rational, I saw a lot of people complaining about it, I think the project was made for the fans since in japan the book is well known and so is the back story. :)

There might be BL stuff in the novel but there is absolutely no mention of it in the movie. If anything there's…
that is because after this movie the continuation of the story was out in a 6 episode drama at less then a month time and things become more clear and serious there...

Omg, i just started. Total shift from the movie! But in the same time its so real. Something that can easily happen,…
It does not matter one can be smart but a lot of time people are too in their skin and can't have an objective outlook in the moment, so their feelings get in the way, either they can be scared of something and the have the situation spiral out of control... living as a partner with someone for 10 years and then from one second to the other to have that all erased without any time to adjust it's hard.
The way he was developed in those 10 years and also they both had some problems even before :)

Does the full length movie version have the same name?
As long as I know there is no movie but the 6 episodes of the tv show were put head to head in a movie format. But it's exactly the same and yes it's the same title

Review The Ambiguous Focus Spoiler
Or the fault comes from the Chinese government that does not let any BL project to have to depict happy and healthy relationships with a happy ending :) In the year of the project, all movies or dramas were dark, violent, or sad if not the projects were canceled and never got an ending... I know at least 3 projects that depicted BL and were quite successful but never got finished... they were baned. As you may have noticed both these projects were aired one after another ( I mean immediately, not even one month later) they already had it planned with a sad end in order not to be banned.

Review My Husband Won't Fit Spoiler
To answer your question of "why is it like this and not like that?" well basically it's because this drama is actually an intimate journal that portrays the story of a traumatized woman, that because of societal norms, can't ask for help. She is scared, embarrassed, and can't communicate, so instead of doing the right thing (asking the help of a professional), in order not to feel like a failure she throws herself at other men, while the husband needs to get his frustrations out and settles to have sex one time with different women.
All this is set in stone because it's based on a true story, the series was made after an autobiographical book. The writer (the leading lady) never shows her face, even at fan meetings or book signings she wears masks to protect her identity. The story is so layered with Japanese societal rules (from the point of view of a westerner this could be solved) that the woman could not openly talk about sex (never even had sex ed), so in her position, she felt so bad and her problem remained unsolved until today. It's not an open ending, it's actually what happens in real life because of the pressures they gave up and never got an answer. A lot of westerners after finding the book tried to email her and give advice and wanted to help her.

On Buried City to Shut All Lights Oct 30, 2020
This project is interesting because it has 3 seasons each with 12 episodes and a movie for the ending, but it's not all how it seems. The first season makes you think you understand what this series is about and makes you think the supernatural elements are predominant, yet in the second season things shift, and the story gets another "flavor".
But I do have to say that it has a stereotypical element for the Chinese historical dramas and that is that there are a lot of sad scenes (I can even say the word tragedy). For people that want a happy ending, you get it :)
As for the main lady, people complain she looks 12, which I don't think so... she has a childish face and she may look young compared to western standards but a 12-year-old Asian girl does not look like her :)) She has natural make up which obviously doe not make her look more mature but she does look 17 at least.
The acting is nice, the main cast are young but did a good job.

Liked this show, except the last episode that just was full-on plot holes in order to fit the exaggerated drama :)) It's like all the characters became dumb in the last episode ... the rest was perfect :)
