Zang Hai got really emotional seeing his dad's notebook, I was glad she gave it to him. Antu was cute but also foolish, trying to kill herself to prove herself to Zang Hai, I forget how young they are - Zhinu was like 10 when his family died, meaning he is barely 20 and the princess is around the same age.

I find them cute but, personally, I am indifferent towards romance, I could take it or leave it, but how many records will their kiss break - the fans of revenge and the fans of romance finally united. 😂 Antu is bold, I like that.

Phew, I made a good decision to watch yesterday's episodes today, because they were nerve wracking! My impressions: hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, Zhixing survived not thanks to her, Marquis was da bomb - from performance, pure charisma and power, but also delusion, Zang Hai was heartbroken when he realized how he poisoned Zhixing's life, eunuch's death was both comical and deserved... I decided I don't want to know who the mask man/third conspirator are beforehand. Drama did an excellent job in keeping us on our toes and excited, I will wait.

Wow, the two episodes were fire, the tension was off the charts. I am not sure that the princess is the third conspirator, we'll see what happens in the future. I am glad Zhixing survived.

Can anyone tell me who sings the ending song, please?

He created the tombs they explore in the parent stories, so he is mentioned, but nothing else. At least, that's how that was explained to me. :)

Well, episode 7 was sad and then gave heart attack. Luckily Gao Ming was on time. A very clever ploy.

When Duke Pingyin's men checked his history they found out that his only living relative (shifu) died in the fire so he is basically alone in the world.

The only idea I had is that he did that to create a plausible story for Zhang Hai's past.

The first kid Zang Hai (before the operation) looked so much like Xiao Zhan, including the rabbit teeth. XD

I hope his revenge is epic because they really pissed me off when they killed his sister. Honestly, so far I am more intrigued by the good guys: his savior always wears the mask, one shifu immolated himself, the other seems softhearted, but we know nothing about them.

Slowly re-watching FoF now that I know the ending and enjoying it - you can really ship the cast in every permutation. Real Chinese censored polycule, lol.

Started to watch this to heal myself from Fangs of Fortune. It's silly, funny with some poignant moments. All in all, it's wildly entertaining. I am nearing the end in just three days. Would recommend.

When Ying Lei died, when Bai Jiu did, when Yuanzhou sacrificed himself... they ripped my heart out, but... and I can't believe I am saying this, because I hate sad endings... it made sense. Still, I was hoping for this found family to overcome everything and goes on to travel through the jianghu solving cases... Well, girl can dream and read fix-it fanfiction. ;)

Not yet, but expectations are realistic. We'll know tomorrow.

Came to check new potential drama to watch next from FoF page and found exactly the same comment section - everyone freaking out about the ending, lol. But, take heart, your chances are much better. :(
