I finally finished the drama. I enjoyed the games a lot, the chemistry between the leads was fantastic, I wish we got more of them. Duke Su was a henpecked husband from the beginning. lol. Like everybody, I hated that brothers died. I wish her ex was burned in a slow cooking fire. I rarely despise a character so much (actor did a great job, I absolutely hated him). I understood when FL threw up when he gave her his cloak. At least the Princess was sick in the head, he was just spineless. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I am ready for The Tales of Tang Dynasty 2.

I really liked starting the drama after all episodes aired. The experience is so relaxing, you can watch 1 episode or 10. It's great. And I like this couple a lot. ;)

I started watching this yesterday and while it's not a master piece, it's really addictive. I blew through 10 episodes in no time and I am continuing today. I love this shady couple so much.

Everything over 600 is excellent. Neither I nor Marcus have ever seen higher than 634. It's far from disappointing, I don't remember a higher rating and I don't think any drama got 700 points ever.

I am glad douban rating is going up though.

I knew Eldest Prince was familiar! He had a part in Justice in the Dark. I loved him there, but here his styling is much better. And he and Northern Qi princess are cute together. I hope they have a good ending.

Is this true or a mistake on MDL? It's Friday, we shouldn't be getting new episodes. I mean, I am not complaining, I just don't want to keep my hopes up.

That fight in episode 24 was awesome, the choreography was great with touches of humor and Renjie's integrity paid off.

On the other hand, I am afraid for Cao An. And just when she started to get along with Ma Rong.

I am worried now that they started talking about marriage... that they'll just fridge Cao An for Di Renjie's pain. I really like them together. The writer might be Dutch, but production is still Chinese. 😨
